Well, since I'm bored and don't know what to write yet, might as well write this IMPORTANT stuff to the story.
(Contains some spoilers)
First, let's begin about Power System.g
The Power System in this story isn't really that complicated.
People will receive the goddess blessings (mana) making them capable fighter primarily against monsters.
Archons: These people are the ones with the blessings.
Most Archons had different mana color to each other depending on their element. The way they see mana also depends what element they have.
For example, Voltaire has purple mana and he sees the mana from others as such. On the other hand, Lance has a crimson red mana and saw the other people's mana as crimson red.
In some cases, it's also possible to have the same mana color even though with different attributes.
Mana users have three different kinds which will be determined when they receive the blessings.
We have Rangers, Swordsmaster, and Support.
Rangers: This is a type of Mana User that fight from long distance. (You can see them as mage from games, but they don't need to chant and can only use one element.) Rangers are all females throughout the course of history except for a certain someone.
Swordsmaster: This one is the easiest to understand. Swordsmaster are common. They fight using not just sword, but also other weapon. They can store mana from their weapon while recovering mana from their own body which make them a formidable fighter especially for long time battle. Swordsmaster can also attacks from range although not comparable to Rangers. (Well, it depends on the person.)
Supports: These people aren't considered as fighter since they can only heal and enhanced the physical capability of another person. Their ability also more effective to someone with the same element as them.
Secondly, the elements.
Of course, the basic elements such as fire, wind, water, and earth(soil).
There's also the special ones such as lightning, shadow, and wood.
Lastly, the rare ones like time, gravity, light, and dark.
Archon with the same element has a chance to have a different mana color from each other.
For example, Luke with a lightning attribute and blue mana while his mother, Mathilda, has the same attribute, her mana color is different.
The strength of an Archon relies on varies reasons. However, the mana they have played a huge factor from it.
Archon can increase their mana by mastering their ability or by gaining more experience from fighting until they reach their limit.
Initial Mana: The mana an archon has when he received the goddess blessings.
Mana Ceiling: The limit of how much mana a single archon has.
As for the Initial Mana and Mana Ceiling, let's use a real life examples with video games term like 'points' to better explain it.
Say, John Cena and Rey Mysterio were born in this world and both received the goddess blessings.
Rey had initial mana points of 30 while John only had 10.
In this case, in terms of their element firepower, Rey has the upper hand against John.
Meanwhile, Rey only had 90 points as a mana ceiling while John surpassed him with 110 points.
Which means, when the two of them reach their peak, John will be stronger than Rey.
(Don't forget that I'm only talking about their attributes. In a fight between archons many factors are into play such as the strategy, their fighting style, even their personality can help to determine the winner.)
Up next, are the monsters.
Monsters have five classes that indicates their strength and threat to humans.
Grave Class - The weakest and the most common ones. (To put into perspective, one archon can handle two or more grave class monsters at the same time and still won.)
Demise Class - (Archon can win against this class one on one.)
Fate Class - (Need two to five archon to kill these.)
Quietus Class - (Need ten or more skilled archons to fight it and the chance is still 50/50)
Doom Class - The strongest among the monsters.
(Might take a whole army of archon to beat these monsters.)
The monsters in each classes are... Wait, nope. That's too much of a spoiler so I should stop now. Bleh.
