I pick up the light mage reward pouch, open it, and then let the contents fall out onto the ground.
First thing I see is 3 blue potions on the ground, then I see 2 more skill books, and last, I see a robe that's white in colour and has a light tint of yellow around the arms.
Picking up the robe, I could guess it was probably something that has to do with the light mage class.
After inspecting it for a while I decided to appraise it to see exactly what it did-

Slightly Surprised That It Would Increase Effectiveness of Spells, I decide to try it on and test it.
After putting it on I realized that I needed a wound to test it out, as I only had two light spells, both for different types of healing.
After feeling slightly silly for the oversight, I put back on the other robe I was wearing and then continue to look through the rest of the stuff.
I glance at the three blue potions for less than a second and instinctively blurt out "These are mana potions aren't they?"
I decide to appraise one to see if I was right-

"Knew it, they were mana potions". After gloating to myself for a moment, I put the potions in my inventory, and quickly scurry over to the last two items, the skill books.
I pick up the one closest to me and then I looked at the title 'Skill Book : Spark'
After questioning what it would do for a moment, I decide to appraise it to find out-

After seeing this I instantly knew that I could use this to try the calculate the buff I get from the light mages robe.
After that I went ahead and opened the book, same sequence as always, it was; open, then light, then information.
After it had all happened, I put on the light mage robe, and then went to try it out.
I got up to Cast the spell "it only costs 1 mana, neat" I whisper before casting the spell.
After casting the spell, I instantly feel a rush come through my legs, rejuvenating them.
After doing some light warm-ups for a minute or so I pack up everything that was on the ground, and then, I start to run towards the edge of the forest after spending 1 more minute to make sure i have everything, wasting a total of two minutes, leaving me with 8 minutes to run as far and fast as possible.
After running for about 4 minutes, I start to realize that I'm not getting tired at all 'This is pretty neat' I tell myself, before continuing to run for as long as the spell is still on.
After counting about 10 minutes total, I wonder why I still have the speed buff, after continuing to count for about one more minute, my legs start to slow down, and down, and down until I'm moving at normal running speed.
After I realize that I've slowed down, I sit down at a nearby tree to find out what the robe exactly does.
First I realize that I was able to run for 11 minutes instead of 10 meaning that it went up by 10%.
So that means that the robe raises all stats of light magic by 10% "that also means that I was running at 22%, huh" I say to myself.
"Because of that short experiment, I know that the robe gives a 10% boost to all light magic and I'm probably way closer to some sort of human village or settlement, But for now I wanna check out what the other skill book is."
After taking the other book out I look at the title 'Skill Book : Illuminate'
After reading the title, I take a slight interest in the spell, and so I appraise it-

'Hmm, that might be useful for when I'm in a cave or something' I tell myself, adjusting my opinion of the skill.
After reading the skill book, realize that it's turning night "I need to find a cave, or somewhere enclosed to sleep tonight" I tell myself, after a bit of wandering I find a little cave, after making sure that there's nothing inside and that nothing is coming inside and double checking just to be sure.
After being completely sure that absolutely nothing's coming in, I finally start to lay down, slowly falling asleep, while going to sleep, I start to wonder how James and the others are doing without me "oh well, maybe I'll meet them again one day..."
And then I succumb to my drowsiness, and fall asleep...
