Su Chenxing walked in the school and the first thing that came into her view was a statue.
It was a female who held a few books in her hands. She stood in a dignified manner with her head tilted upward.
Su Chenxing walked closer to the statue and read the words engraved at the bottom of the statue. "Knowledge is Power".
Su Chenxing couldn't help but smile as she moved her hands across the words. They weren't mere words because she knew it was indeed a fact.
Have knowledge and know how to apply them and when you speak in a large gathering you'll do nothing but move the audience.
Su Chenxing walked away from the statue and felt a few gazes on her. There were a lot of students standing around, taking a look at her casual outfit it wasn't surprising she stood out.
She hadn't received her school uniform yet but she would receive it before the day ends, so Su Chenxing ignored the stares and continued to wander around.
She loved the environment, the plants , the trees, she loved how peaceful and surreal it felt until...
Su Chenxing looked left then right and then Palm faced herself. "It seems I've gotten lost" she said to herself.
Just then she remembered something and quickly looked through her school bag and brought out a piece of paper. It was a mini map of the school.
"So now all I have to do is know where I am on the school map" she held the map up and took a few steps back to get a clear view of her surroundings.
She hadn't noticed someone walking behind her and bumped into the person. She quickly turned around to apologize and noticed she knocked down the books the person previously held.
She bent down to help pick up the books " I'm so sorry I didn't know you were there" Su Chenxing said as she stood up from the ground, the other person followed suit and stood up.
It was a girl, obviously a senior student as she took note of the uniform.
"It's okay, It's okay though I wonder what you were doing just now, new student?" the girl asked as she reached out her free hand to carry the remaining books from Su Chenxing.
"Uhm well... I'm new here , was given a map buh I got lost first so now I'm trying to use the map but then I still don't know where I am" Su Chenxing said as she gave an awkward laugh.
The girl laughed " It's okay it happens" she said but then gave Su Chenxing a hard stare. She looked from her hair down to her glasses, clothes then shoes.
If Su Chenxing hadn't known she was a master when it came to creating a disguise she would have thought her cover had been blown.
But then she wondered what was the cause of the girls behavior as the girl dropped her books on the floor and began to Walk around her.
"Is something wrong miss..." she was suddenly cut off when the girl suddenly moved very close to her face and made her feel awkward.
"What kind of person had she encountered on her first day of school?!!!" Su Chenxing said as she used a finger to adjust her glasses back in position.
The girl finally stepped away and smiled " Hi I'm Zhu Ai Qing, nice to meet you" she said as she stretched a hand forward for a handshake.
Su Chenxing shook her hand maintaining her composure "I'm Su Chenxing nice to meet you too miss" she said.
" Ah no no no , just call me Xiao Ai , it stands for love" she said as she drew a heart shape in the air.
" Mental note, the girl named Zhu Ai Qing has a lot of energy" she said to herself.
"I can call you Xiao Ai but don't you think it's for people who are close " Su Chenxing said logically.
"Indeed it's for people who are close which means I want to be a close friend of yours" she said patting Su Chenxing on her shoulder which was a little bit hard.
Su Chenxing looked at the lovely girl who resembled a little harmless flower and could only wonder why she'd want to be friends with an ugly person such as herself.
She didn't have anything she could possibly offer her,but considering the fact she couldn't sense any hostile energy from her, she couldn't help but believe her.
"Since you are a new student you must be looking for the staff building" Zhu Ai Qing finally said, coming back to reality Su Chenxing remembered what she was doing before she bumped into Zhu Ai Qing.
"Ah yes I was..."
Su Chenxing hadn't completed her sentence when Zhu Ai Qing hooked her arm around hers and dragged her away while she held the books in the other hand.
Then she finally stopped in front of one of the buildings. Su Chenxing looked back to the place she was previously standing which wasn't far away and almost slapped her forehead again but restrained herself"
Being in a new environment wasn't always the best experience...
The two girls entered the building and went up the stairs and passed a couple of rooms which included a Library, Lab, a store room and others.
They suddenly stopped in front of a door. The words staff room was boldly written on it and they both stepped in.
They saw a few juniors and quickly greeted the teachers present.
Zhu Ai Qing led her to a particular table where a man had his head bowed obviously busy and hadn't sensed their presence.
Su Chenxing noticed the name tag on the desk 'Mr Zhuo Ming'
"Good morning Mr Zhuo it's nice to see you again" Zhu Ai Qing said with a loud voice.
" Ah isn't it our Zhu Ai Qing, truly it's nice to see you again" Mr Zhuo Ming said not lifting his head up from his work.
" You didn't lift your head up and you already know it's me, I must be special" Zhu Ai Qing said with a bright smile.
Finally lifting his head up he said " I'd know that jolly voice any place and anytime, so what brings you here..."
Su Chenxing blinked twice " why was he so young!!!" she exclaimed internally...
