The remaining two teams had only transported two and one carrot, respectively.
The competition was still underway. Having finished early, Melody Monroe and her team sat under a parasol, watching the other three teams battle it out.
The little piglet was nestled in her arms, resting its chin on her forearm and squinting in bliss as she gently stroked it.
Evan Fairchild glanced from his phone to the pig.
'Braised suckling pig tastes pretty good!'
"Captain, that piglet really likes you! It's so cute, I want to hold it too," Nana Owen said, wanting a turn. But as soon as she lifted the piglet into her arms, it started to struggle.
She quickly placed the piglet back in Melody's arms.
"Is this pig really that smart? Let me see if it'll let me hold it." Cynthia Jacobs also reached for the little pig.
But before her hand could even touch it, the piglet shied away.
A few others tried as well, but the result was the same.
The piglet only wanted to snuggle in Melody Monroe's arms.
