A problem immediately occurred to Jasper Rockwell.
"If you're going to join, Sean will never agree. You know this is an extreme sport—it's risky."
"I'm a professional too." Zane Langdon scooted to the side, unable to stand Jasper Rockwell's fawning.
'He really wondered if this guy was actually a Rockwell. He had none of the arrogance you'd expect from a rich kid.'
"We'll never get it past Sean." Jasper Rockwell had no confidence he could convince Sean Coleman.
"What are you two talking about?" Sean Coleman asked, pushing the door open and walking in on quite a scene.
Zane Langdon was sitting in a chair with Jasper Rockwell leaning against his leg. They were incredibly close, and the sight made Sean freeze for several seconds.
As soon as Jasper Rockwell saw Sean Coleman, he scrambled to his feet. Talk about speaking of the devil.
Sean Coleman rubbed his nose, pushing the thought down.
He understood Zane Langdon very well.
