"We've been playing for an hour, and everyone's tired. Let's call it a day on the quests," Melody Monroe said, getting ready to log out of the game.
"Melody, are you back in Rockwellburg?" Zane Langdon asked.
Jasper Rockwell was about to leave the voice chat, but since the two of them were still talking, he decided to stay. It was a perfect opportunity to let Evan Fairchild listen in.
"Mhm, I've been in Rockwellburg lately."
"I have an event in Rockwellburg in a few days. Are you free? We should grab a meal together."
"I don't think I can. I probably have an event around then, too," Melody Monroe replied quickly. "I'm logging off now. Bye."
Melody Monroe was the first to leave the voice chat.
She immediately stood up and glanced at the soup simmering in the kitchen.
She didn't actually have any events coming up. There was only a new drama in the early stages of planning, and Rose Shaw was busy handling everything, which left her with a lot of free time.
