Melody Monroe returned to her rest area and sat down in a chair.
"Talia, get me a glass of plain water."
Talia immediately twisted open a thermos, poured a cup, and handed it to Melody.
"Melody!" a voice called out.
Melody and Talia both looked in the same direction.
Leah Young walked over with a smile. "Melody, you and Mr. Langdon have been filming straight through, so you missed lunch. Raymond specially ordered some food for you both. Mr. Langdon is over there now, so why don't you come eat with us?"
"No, thank you. I don't really have an appetite right now. Please thank Raymond Ford for me," Melody replied with a smile, politely declining.
"Are you sure you won't come? Raymond specially prepared it." Leah Young deliberately emphasized the word "specially." It was as if Melody was being incredibly disrespectful.
"No, thank you." Melody was just as direct in her refusal.
"Alright, then." Leah Young replied with a disappointed look on her face and turned to leave.
