Melody Monroe had just finished getting ready to head out when Talia Mercer came rushing in.
"Melody, you can't go out right now."
"What's wrong? What happened?"
"Haven't you seen the news online?" Talia Mercer immediately pulled out her phone.
"Look!"
Melody Monroe glanced at the screen and frowned. She handed Talia Mercer's phone back, then pulled out her own. The internet was already flooded with stories about her, and not a single one was good.
"This was the original post. I'll send it to you." Talia Mercer quickly sent it to Melody Monroe. "The post itself didn't seem problematic—it was just about the script issues. But then, a swarm of haters appeared out of nowhere! After that, things just spiraled out of control."
After reading the post, Melody Monroe looked at Talia Mercer. "How is this not a problem? This is the fuse. People don't just show up to hate for no reason! Someone must have orchestrated this."
Hearing that, it finally dawned on Talia Mercer!
