Chapter 274 - I am wicked as I can be

Onoki didn't know what this new technique was, but he could tell it was dangerous. From the initial confrontation, he figured out that this woman knew close combat better than anyone he had ever seen in his entire life. And he had lived quite a long life.

"Particle Style: Atomic Dismantling Jutsu!"

It created a sphere of destructive energy. The two attacks collided, creating an explosion of light and force that shattered the mirrored ground around them. Aoto, from the side, was surprised that their attack could even repel the mirror dimension in that way. The only time he had seen that happen was when Thanos used the space gem to shatter the mirror dimension altogether. Maybe Onoki's style wasn't just the usual dust style but a sub-version of space style since it was known to dismantle everything in its path.

This kekkai genkai was unique and powerful. Maybe Kisuke should research more into kekkai genkai, as it might lead to many revelations since he had been extensively studying the human biology of ninjas.

"Not bad for an old man," Yoruichi said with a smile. Onoki wanted to say something, but Aoto chimed in.

"You are at least a thousand times older than him. Who are you calling old?"

"Shut up, Aoto. Nobody asked for your words," Yoruichi shouted back. Onoki was stunned by this small joke because it was supposed to be a joke, but for him, it wasn't. This woman was older than him? What the hell was he talking about? That was impossible. But then again, he had never heard of a jutsu that could turn oneself into an animal for a long period of time, and he was sure that he had seen the black cat before when they met.

So what was up with this woman? But how could Yoruichi let Onoki take too much time to think?

With a sudden burst of speed, Yoruichi appeared behind Onoki, but this time, she was prepared for his counter. As he turned, she unleashed a combination of Shunpo and Hakuda, her strikes blindingly fast and powerful. Onoki, though struggling, managed to hold his ground using his rock-hard defense and sharp reflexes.

The fight escalated, each fighter pushing their limits. Yoruichi's agility and speed clashed with Onoki's strength and earth-shattering techniques. The mirror dimension echoed with their battle, reflections shattering and reforming around them.

In a final, decisive move, Yoruichi focused all her energy into one last Shunko-enhanced strike, while Onoki gathered his chakra for another Particle Style attack. They launched at each other, a clash of titanic forces. As the two forces met, both of them were thrown back like missiles from the fight. As Onoki was coming down, various whips, which seemed like they were made of light, caught the wrists, abdomen, and legs of Onoki and yanked him to the ground.

The old man's fall was harsh, and Aoto felt like he heard a small crack in Onoki's back, though he wasn't sure. Meanwhile, Yoruichi landed gracefully after being thrown away like a rag doll, testifying to how agile and powerful her body was.

"I told you to keep out of the fight," Yoruichi said, not happy that Aoto had used his magic to stop the fight. The whips were something he had exclusively learned with the help of Loki and Kisuke. These whips, with the help of magic, could strike at the chakra points of the body and make them stop.

This was a very low blow because if one was powerful enough, one could break the interference in the chakra flow. But it was a double-stacked problem. One needed to get rid of the interference first, and then came the binding.

And Onoki, at the moment, was a bit old and beaten down to be able to get away. He was not happy at all as he looked at Yoruichi and Aoto talking with each other. He had seen the whips before in that arena, and he was finally able to see them up close.

"Uh, well, I didn't want you to kill him," Aoto said. Yoruichi scoffed at him but didn't refute. She did really want to kill him. Aoto came forward and sat beside Onoki, this time face to face with him.

"Can we talk now?" Aoto asked.

"Hmph! Don't patronize me. Kill me if you want to. Iwagakure will never back down," Onoki said.

"It will if I appoint the spy close to you as the next Tsuchikage," Aoto said. This made Onoki double-take. The words of Aoto made Onoki think twice now. He wanted to know about the leaks as he felt that the person might be quite close, but from Aoto's words, it meant that the person was someone who could even be a Tsuchikage.

Who was he? Who was the traitor? He needed to know. Was it Deidara? No, that was impossible. He would be the next Tsuchikage regardless, and there were no reasons for him to betray his own mentor. So who was this person? Onoki was silent as he was thinking.

"What do you really wish in life? I ask again, Onoki-san, and this is the last chance. I will otherwise kidnap you and torture you, declare you a traitor, and the next Tsuchikage will speak out about your deals with Akatsuki and how it has made you a fugitive. Thus, your village will be disgraced and probably go to war with other villages, including Sunagakure and Kumogakure. So think again before you speak," Aoto said.

"You think they will believe you? Iwagakure will never believe a word of Konoha," Onoki was sure of his village and the hatred that ran deep in their blood. He had made the village in his own image, so he had the best idea.

"Yes. But the other two and smaller villages will take the evidence and take your village to the cleaners," Aoto said with a wicked smile, which sent a chill down Onoki's spine.
