After entering the divine hall and greeting some nobles the imperial family and the Duke family went towards a gigantic door. Their were two guards stationed their and seeing them both of them saluted and let the imperial and Duke family enter.
After some minutes of walking they were Infront of some stairs where an orb of the size of 3 fists was located. Below the orb 5 dragons with different eye balls were holding it. The eyes were of the colours red ,blue ,green ,pale blue and purple , indicating Fire, Water, Wind, Ice and lighting.
Yes,they were the Infront of the affinity orb which is used in checking affinities. Their were 5 such orbs in Grantz Empire. Each orb was directly looked after by the Imperial Government.
The Imperial family and Duke households were the first one to get their affinites checked if they had any 7 year old son or daughter in their family.Then came the marquis households,Earl households,Count households,Viscount households and Baron households. Then came commoners.
There were 5 elder looking man with mage robes on standing before them. They bowed and then one of them ,most likely the leader came forward and said...
"Your Majesties and the prince along with The Solirifia Duke family...We are honoured to have you here today."
Sabastian nodded his head and seeing this the elder said...
"Your Highness , Schwartz Von Grantz Can you please climb up these stairs and place your hand on top of the orb present their and pour some of your mana in it." the elder said respectfully.
"Elder..."Schwartz said.
"Yes, your Highness?"said the elder looking towards Schwartz.
"Can you let Siesta check her affinity first?" Schwartz said looking towards Siesta who was standing with her family.
Siesta opened her eyes wide along with her family.
hearing this the elder said,
"Are you sure your Highness?I am not being disrespectful but the Imperial family is the first one who should climb on it." the elder said worryingly.
"huh? will something happen if she goes first?" Schwartz looked towards the elder and said those words.
Feeling a suffocating aura behind Schwartz which was not visible to anyone else other than the elder, he shook his head and said,
"nothing will happen your Highness, this was just a previously followed rule so I just asked to be sure."the elder meekly said.
hearing this everyone blinked as they weren't able to process just what happened.
"A-are you sure S-Schwartz" said Siesta.
"Yes I am sure...You are very special to me after all Siesta" Schwartz smiled and said those words.
The room they were in was sound proof and only his family, Siesta's family and the five elders were present their so he had no fear of any 3rd party hearing this.
Siesta blushed hearing this and Sabastian just laughed , while the Schwartz mother and they Solirifia family has wry smiles on their faces.
"hahaha! oh man...You really are like me. Hahahaha...I see so this how it is...Listen everyone no one should know what had happened here other than us and you...I hope you will keep your mouths shut." said Sabastian sternly looking towards the elders.
The elders gulped and bowed their heads and said,
""certainly your Majesty!"" in unison.
Siesta wasn't able to understand what was happening and her already blushing face blushed even more.
While Schwartz wasn't any different, he was only a little embarrassed.
[What is this Master? Don't tell me you agree that you are inlove with Siesta?] the system said provoking Schwartz to get embarrassed even more.
(Well...When we were Infront of the Divine Tower I saw a boy of maybe 10-11 years perhaps here to watch his family member's affinity gazing towards Siesta with lustful eyes...I got angry and "tensed" and glared towards him and he backed away in fear...From the reaction I showed it shows that I hold feelings for Siesta.) Schwartz said with a hint of killing intent thinking about the boy.
[I see Master...But as an Imperial prince, I am sure you will have even more fiancees in the future.] said the system speaking it's thoughts.
(I know that already...But I am sure I will take Siesta as my 1st or 2nd wife in the future.) Schwartz said.
[*sigh* Master you are thinking way to much into future...]the system sighed and said.
( I know, I know...But remember my mental age.)said Schwartz sarcastically.
[*sigh*] to which the system just responded with a sigh.
"A-are you sure Schwartz? I-I mean I am indeed happy that you said that , but-" Siesta was speaking.
"No buts, you can think of it as an order Siesta. An order from the prince"Schwartz said as he smiled.
Siesta got as red as a tomato and nodded her head.
"mhm"she said.
"ohh my...My son is even good with words." Sofia said she smiled.
"hahaha! he is our son after all !" Sabastian said and then looked towards Solirifia's head and his wife , Rozzo and Jasmine.
"now you can think of me as your family Rozzo..." Sabastian smirked as he said those words.
Rozzo wryly smiled and said "we are honoured that the Prince has chosen our daughter as his interest." and bowed along with his wife.
"no,no,no. There is no need to bow now that you are part of my future family" Sabastian and Sofia smiled as Sabastian said those words.
The elders just smiled wryly as they thought "I just want to forget what I just saw" because they know that after witnessing this they will be under the watchlist of the Imperial Information network called HAZE.
