In the middle of that chaos, Yog could only see two people. A ball of dominating radiance, and Nyar standing right in front of that ball, casting his own darkness and refusing to get burned. But then, from Nyar's shadow, Linda emerged with her arm having turned into a dark blade of shadows and distorted time.
She didn't have time to keep watching. Nyar could fight as freely as he wanted, but they couldn't. They had to minimize collateral damage and protect the people of the mortal world. As much as Yog loved throwing tornadoes everywhere and sowing chaos, she had to keep it down now.
That's why she started working on barriers and left the initial fighting to Luminous and Linda. Those were powerful enough to stand their own, even if it was just a short while. Nyar deflected Linda's sword with his arm and then found himself standing between the two. Blinding radiance on one side, and blinding darkness on the other side, he was getting sandwiched between two extremes.
