Charles looked at the T6 before him with a complex expression, deeply shocked by their noble ideal of saving all of humanity.
Yet, when he considered their current state and all the things they had done, Charles felt a sense of absurdity. Their actions did not match their words at all.
"So, if you claim this is all for the sake of humanity, why didn't you save the people of Earth Sea when they were being killed off? When the Darkness finally returned to Earth's surface, why did you steal it away?" he asked.
T6 fell silent for a long moment, its mandibles dripping with green venom trembling slightly as it explained to him, "You must understand that the Foundation is not an autocracy. There are different interpretations among us about the means to save humanity."
"I want to reiterate once again that I am a researcher. My say in the Foundation is not significant. When we voted on Proposal Three, I cast a dissenting vote. But in the end, the minority had to follow the majority."
