Charles shook his head and walked past the crew to the restroom between the two train cars.
He turned on the tap and continually washed his somewhat haggard face with icy cold water. The cold shock rapidly brought him out of the nightmare's influence.
Charles looked up at himself in the mirror, "No, you need to trust Anna. She's not that kind of person. Shanshan is our daughter. She wouldn't do that."
He had just finished speaking when "Ding-dong~!" a pleasant female voice came from the nearby speaker, "Ladies and gentlemen, this train is about to reach the terminal station, Giant Pit Fortress, delayed by 57 minutes. Please take your luggage and line up in order to disembark."
Charles reached out to open the train window and saw a small city in the distance, appearing before him. He hadn't been back in a long while, and the changes here were much greater than he had imagined.
