On board the Unicorne, everyone's expression was solemn, for Gunner Lily had been kidnapped by the Pope.
"Don't be discouraged, everyone," Charles said resolutely. "Get moving, once we've sorted out the exploration ship, we will go and rescue Lily!"
Grace's face first lit up, then dimmed. "But they're already gone... where do we even look for them... they're untraceable..."
"Who says they can't be found? Since they left a mark on our side, then of course we can leave a mark on their ship!"
As Charles touched his empty eye socket, a spider lurking in a dark corner of the lowest room of the Pope's spaceship twitched its legs slightly.
Seeing the Pope standing there and not attacking with full force had already made Charles suspect his true intentions. He had been cautious then, and now it seemed he had been right to be.
When the crew heard that Charles had information on that ship, they immediately fired up, rubbing their hands together in preparation to rescue their companion.
