"Are you sure about this?" Britt asked Gerard for the fifth time. She cannot believe it when she heard that there are remain of an old being buried underground and become the source of the rodent infestation. If not find a way to solve it, these rodents will turn into monsters.
Gerard sighed and gaze at her. "Look, if you cannot bring yourself to believe me, just follow me okay? You'll see it soon. Anyway, we'll definitely encounter a mutated rodent so be ready."
In the end, Britt can only follow him traversing the remote area of Oak City. After walking for almost half an hour, they halted.
"It's a dead end." She murmured as she stare at bushes that served like an ornament and covered the rocky walls.
"No, it is not." Gerard simply replied and brandished his sword.
Britt saw the sword and didn't find any oddities; for her, it is just a normal sword.
Gerard walks forward and cuts the bushes using his sword.
