Chapter 105 - Chapter 104

I was teleported a good fifty-something miles away and with that distance I had more than enough time to flee deeper into the lands of Ionia putting my back to the invading Noxian army with the hopes that they couldn't trace my teleport while they were busy dealing with the Eater of Worlds.

"Alright, the boss monsters should buy those villagers and towns people more time to escape... Unless the towns people manage to get their attention but I doubt it." I muttered to myself as I took a breath and then recalling the information the inn owner gave me about the local area I took in the dim glow of fire in the distance where the town previously was and I flew to the east deeper into Ionia.

Though as I was flying I began thinking. What did I want to get out of coming to the world of Runeterra. What powerful items could I get that I couldn't simply make a powerful weapon or item that could outmatch it from modded Terraria?

Or... Who did I want to fight, kill, or even just meet and talk with?

In the end in terms of beings, I could and should kill without any hesitation... There was Zed and his Order of Shadow which was filled with amoral assassins who caused a lot of issues. Not to mention Kayn who wielded a sentient Darkin weapon in Rhaast that could lead on a slaughter across the world.

Beyond them... Honestly I wanted to meet with Wukong and Yasuo to just have a drink together and talk.

Swiftly flying away from the town of Kairos I made my way to the next town of Vastayi and by the time I arrived there the sun was rising and I came in with the sun gracing my travel worn form as I landed inside the slightly larger more lively town with the early rising inhabitants looking at me slightly wearily.

"Hello!" I called out and continued as I looked to a local-looking man. "Can you lead me to the leader of the town? I have important news that I have to share."

The young man startled before nodding and saying quickly. "Alright, when a man flies into town who doesn't look like Vastaya with wings you obviously got something important to share right?"

The young man quickly led me to town's chieftain who oversaw the minor bits of lawkeeping and making sure the small town that had at most a few hundred people living within the town nice and functional.

The chieftain was rather old with his body covered in a blanket as he sat on a rocking chair on his porch looking at me with tired milky eyes as he spoke. "Well young man, please share the good news."

My lips twitched as I asked with an odd expression. "Why do you think I carry good news?"

To which the old man said sagely. "Ah, the wisdom of the elderly my young friend... All news can be good news as even hearing of future troubles from you means that we will have time to react to such news."

I gave the old man a long look before I bluntly said. "A large Noxian army heralded by at least three Noxian hero's raided the town of Kairos before I bought the towns people time to escape in this direction hopefully. They will obviously be heading this way and be here within the next two days with their marching speed."

And in turn the chief went quiet for a moment before he coughed and said with some amusement. "Well... I stand corrected, that is indeed some bad news haha." He chuckled at the end before looking at me more seriously.

"Well young man seeing as you have the ability to slow an entire army down and even fly from Kairos here to Vastayi, would you mind doing this old man one favor before you leave us to our fates." He asked calmly.

I stilled hearing the surety in his voice and I couldn't help but ask. "I am surprised you believe me so easily... But go ahead old man tell me your request, if I can help I will if it's not an outrageous request."

A wry smile crossed the man's chapped lips before he spoke tiredly. "Outside the city towards that mountain over there." He pointed out further north towards a large mountain in the distance. "The old mountain over there... The Dark Sovereign of Ionia has been noted as living there. Could you go and tell her that the Noxians are here again."

'Dark Sovereign, who was that again? I swear I remember... Oh fuck no!' I thought as I looked at this shameless old man who coughed weakly at feeling my flare upon his form.

"You do realize Syndra doesn't even hate Noxians right? Hell beyond even how she may attempt to kill me for trying to speak with her, she hates Ionia to the core." I said with a groan.

As honestly... Give me Zed, hell give me Jhinn to work with to convince to kill a bunch of Noxians. But fucking Syndra? She was spite and angst incarnate with her magic being some kind of darkness gravity manipulation that allowed her rip the life force from her foes and surroundings.

After a moment I looked at the old man and pointed at the mountain and said. "That mountain huh?"

To which the old man smiled and said. "Aye, that be the mountain the Dark Sovereign was last seen upon. She has also been seen speaking with some troublesome Vastayians so be weary of them as well."
