When they reached the Citadel, the Fangs and all the other mercenaries that had come to join had already gone inside.
They were fighting against the monstrosities inside of the dungeon, doing everything they could to clear it all and gain the treasure deep inside.
Lyle and his men arrived only to see scattered numbers of men who had come out of the Citadel, retreating due to their injuries. He didn't waste any time and slaughtered them, using their lives as soul power needed for his strengthening.
They then moved in the dungeon, slaughtering any they came across. Be it monster, human, vampire, none were spared at all.
It took them some time to clear them all out, to slaughter every living being in the Citadel before moving to the main chamber deep inside it. There, the main group of the Fangs, together with some of the mercenary leaders, were fighting against a powerful monster.
