In the afternoon following the cutting of Cruto's arm, people began to decorate the arena for Rex's Soul Mate Marriage with Oracle Aina.
She was too nervous to be anywhere near the scene. The others laughed softly as they warmed her up to the thought of marring Rex.
Even then it was hard and it was harder not to think about it. By the time the evening came, the decorations looked absolutely amazing under the moonlight.
"Such a beautiful night." Rex thought.
Then a little girl appeared beside Rex. It looked too familiar but the face did not match whom he thought it was.
"Greetings Demon King, soon to be a Godly Realm Cultivator, I need a little bit of your time if you are free."
Rex honestly imagined this being the Stairway Conscious and allowed her to take him to an empty room. When they both were seated the little girl wanted Rex to talk about something first before she spoke.
"What will happen when I enter the Godly Realm? Will I become a god or is there something else that will happen?" Rex wanted to truly know.
"Good question. First, you will retain your title as Demon King and it will allow you to enter the Mortal, Demon, and Heavenly Realms as you please after a certain amount of time. Now as for the time period, I do not know.
As the former Heavenly Realm Cultivators were once powerful they are now soldiers and trailblazers for you. Be sure to use them properly.
As for the question to answer about what will happen. I do have a question about that. However, do you have any other questions before I continue?"
Rex honestly thought about it. He did not currently have any other questions as of right now.
"Very well. The other three gods as well as myself want to know if you would be alright with marrying Tiamat as a Soul Mate in the Godly Realm?"
Rex stopped to think hard about that. He did not have a last one yet and only the relationship between them as been business.
"We have not really had any relationship building other than for business. Is it truly for just business or is there something else I need to know?"
The little girl sighed because she did not have all the answers and had to rely on the tiny amount of information she had gotten.
"I believe that when the time comes. Every answer you want will become yours. I do not have true access to the vast information stored inside of the Stairway. I am merely a reflection of the small amount of knowledge that can be used within the Fifth Heavenly Realm." The little girl was upset when speaking.
Rex felt better that she was being as honest as she could. He patted her head and did not want her to worry.
She was glad that Rex was honestly one of the better people in the Realms. Even among the greatest of people that she had access to from the information. None could match Rex's strength and none could match how good of a journey he honestly had.
Most people either had to go down dark paths to learn about the truths to become someone worthy of being remembered, or they always fought uphill battles in such extremes that no one dared to be on the losing side of them.
Even then, the little girl believed that Rex was still far from being done. She could not tell him that now and just had to wait and see what truly happened.
"Let me ask you one more time. Do you think you have it in your heart to accept Tiamat as a Soul Mate in the Godly Realm?"
Rex thought hard about the question for just a couple of seconds before nodding yes.
"Just ensure that my other Soul Mate know about this as well." Rex told her.
"They already do." She replied with a smirk.
Rex wondered how they already know. He did not have the time to worry about it. He had to call it a night and prepare for the Soul Mate marriage with Oracle Aina in two days.
