As the beast was actually fighting what was now considered the main force. The ability to keep going was essential in this fight for the humanoids fighting.
Side sweeps, jumps into people, paw smacks that shattered ribs and arms, but none of it stopped the people from trying to fight against this beast.
As for which one the trio was here, it was Seraphina. She had roared when necessary to keep people from dying and being able to be sent to tents to be healed.
As the battle began to hit its climax the sun began to set. The Charged Beast did not want to fight in the dark. So he called Seraphina over.
"I will sleep over here and not disturb anyone. So I want you all over there as well." The Charged Beast pointed to where the healer tents were set up.
"I will have some people around you to ensure that you do not move during the night. As long as you are fine with this motion, I will agree to where we sleep." Seraphina spoke.
The Charged Beast did not like that Seraphina did not set the trust first but neither it would in this situation so it agreed.
Six people who were still healthy were summoned. These guys rotated during the night to ensure that not only it but the humanoids also slept well during the night.
The Charged Beast was actually quite pleased with this. He did not think that the ground here was so warm.
What he did not know was the Seraphina had already started to rise the magma to engulf the Charged Beast. When the parasite finally figured it out, the shutdown mode on the armor could not be reactivated until the morning.
So the parasite decided to just leave it be for now. Whatever would could happen, would happen without resistance.
Even as the night went by, the parasite felt the magma closer to the armor itself. The sun peeked over the area in which they were in.
This caused the reboot mode to restart on the armor. This made the parasite a very happy parasite. However, when it talked to the Charged Beast about this.
"That was part of the agreement when I spoke my terms with the humans surrounding me." The parasite felt this was stupid.
"JUST WHY WOULD YOU DO SOMETHING THAT STUPID?" The parasite yelled in the armor.
"That way I could keep warm, the armor would not get damaged, and the armor could get stronger with the seconds that the magma stayed close." The Charged Beast answered.
Knowing that was the reason, the entire argument was put to a sudden stop when Seraphina entered the area.
"Was your warm night enough to be ready to fight once these guys have finished breakfast?" She asked.
"Of course. I am fully prepared to enter the second stage of this wonderful fight. I want you to be warned though. I do not wish to fight unevenly, I want to be a bird in flight." The Charged Beast smiled.
This caused Seraphina to be wary of the Charged Beast and what it wanted to do. The time that breakfast was almost done and the fight to resume was at hand.
However, in the distance, the Charged Beast felt as if another beast was staring back at it. This caused the armor to shift a little. The parasite knew that it should won the battle against any humanoid but this seemed like it had a thing for blood in its eyes.
As the new beast Charged forward, roars of dragons could be heard in the distance. This caused the parasite to be on edge. As for the Charged Beast, it was ready for the upcoming challenge.
The humanoids all got into positions. Those ready to fire Qi Spells were in place. Those who were going in melee were equipped with the best armor that they could get their hands on.
Even with all of this preparation, the parasite and the Charged Beast still had the upper hand in this battle.
In the distance, Lilith came forward and she was ready to lead the demons into a great victory but the price was going to be Rex entering the fight.
