Once the fight was over. Rex, Iris, and the Shadow Princess decided to head into the seal to get the Shadow Cloak for Iris.
The Shadow Maid would meld into the shadows of Rex. This was decided by the Shadow Princess.
"Why meld into his shadows?" Iris asked as they walked back to the seal.
"Her protection would increase slightly. Not only that killing someone without knowing what truly happened would be best from his shadows." The Shadow Princess spoke.
Then they entered the seal. All the while, Iris was slightly afraid that she would be hurt while trying to attack like that.
Although, the Shadow Princess could tell what her new Master was thinking. She decided to allow her to think. This is what she needed to do.
As they approached the area where the group was. Fighting was heard, Rex's Shadow Maid was training with swords and spears. This shocked Rex.
It looked like she was having to store a sword or spear into her cloak and draw out another one while someone else was coming unto her.
Although, the Royal Knights were taking it to the trainees level. They felt like maybe they had pushed it too hard at first. Now, she is performing much better.
The Royal Knight did a feint to get her to turn around. When she saw her Master, all the fighting stopped immediately. She bowed to him.
"Congrats on your training. Keep it up." Re told her.
"We have increased the time in this circle. So it helps the growth speed and reflexes." She replied.
"Can I give it a try?" Rex asked.
The Royal Knights all nodded. If Rex could also do this, it could help her.
Rex pulled out just simple Third Realm axes. He liked these to start testing or fighting. He was not entirely sure that it would be safe.
The Royal Knight who was charging the Shadow Maid showed Rex how to store the weapons inside his cloak. Iris and the Shadow Princess continued on.
Finally after the second time, Rex understood the principle of the storing. He began to fight seriously against the Royal Knights who could not even get close to Rex. They were scared for the first time in forever in the fact that Rex was truly a battle junkie.
The next room was where the Shadow Princess's siblings currently were. The were lounging and enjoying all the time to read books or practice breathing techniques.
"How were you all saved?" The Shadow Princess spoke.
They turned to her and smiled, "We did not survive. Our parents had an ancient way to revive us. How? We do not know. Make sure to enjoy your time." The eldest spoke.
She stayed there to talk to her siblings. While Iris continued to the next room. Inside was the King and Queen. Their cool room was not because they wanted it that way.
It was due to the revival of their children. Since only one had survived truly, and the others had lost part of their lives. They had to completely revive them.
Since their blood and shadows came from the duo. It became more of a ceremony more than anything. To just revive their lost parts of their Soul and body but it took a huge toll on the duo.
Their temps now hot enough to cause immediate flames to erupt if something goes wrong. They asked Iris to wait. So she did. She walked back outside waiting for her maid to finish talking to her siblings. A calm expression was on Iris's face. Not the calm before the storm, but a calm and peaceful storm.
She could imagine that her child and the other children would be just like this. Even though they were happy, it did not take long before the Shadow Princess to realize how much of them were truly damaged.
She was saddened but did not allow it to affect her. As the temperature in the room with the King and Queen began to feel cold. They were happy. It would still take a while and this upset them.
Iris and the Shadow Princess were called inside the bedroom. They explained what had happened to their children. Iris was sad and the Shadow Princess cried.
Through their torture, they had lost not only part of their cloak but their minds. Even with the duo trying their best to get them back into the perfect state. It would take a long time, if they ever became truly back to normal.
Iris explained why they come. The King and Queen smiled. Even though they knew that this was the case.
It would take about a week if they stayed inside the room. Maybe a day if they go to the training circle, they made their way there.
What they saw not only stunned them but proved how much Rex was truly the destroyer of their race.
He was able to pull the Royal Weapons out of the cloaks of the Royal Knights. No one should be able to do that. Not even if everything is rough and the person is dying or the person is trying to allow the weapons to be pulled out by someone.
"He truly belongs to the greatest enemy that my race faces." The King thought out loud.
