Belle grew exhausted after answering a massive stack of medical questions, feeling as though her brain cells were about to explode. The worst part of it was calculating exactly which questions she should intentionally get wrong just so she could barely pass. Barely. She couldn't risk getting a high score because Ceres was terrified that Eli would begin to suspect them.
"Looking good," Eli commented, reviewing the exam paper in front of her. "So far, you haven't made a single mistake. I hope this momentum continues on the next page."
Belle rolled her eyes in silence as she shifted to the other side of the bed. She desperately wanted a nap, but Eli's presence made her restless. She hated the idea of him watching her sleep. Alright, maybe it was a bit conceited of her to assume he would do that, but she honestly believed he might.
[Rest! Rest your mind. When you wake up, I'll take over your body. I haven't been able to spend time with him these past three days.]
