The grand ball for the celebration of the many years that the Drivike is founded is today. The two hundredth forty three years of Drivike empire.
And unfortunately, I need to attend that ball, and the Duke is free now. He will become my partner and my lady in waiting is still recovering from what the empress did to Lady Criseta.

They are applying some simple make up, and watching her people to take care of me. And all of them are surprised that my eyes changed, and I explained it to them and that feel relief now.
"Your gown indicate power and intelligent." She said while looking at my whole figure.
I know that I look good, and now that I don't need to wear my eye silk, it's more better than before. I also feel normal, that before. I didn't feel it because I am the only one who is wearing some sort of eye silk.
"You're gorgeous, if you are not the fiance of lord Theron, you will have a lot of suitors, what an expensive face of yours." She keeps praising my face and how I managed to wear the gown that she created just for this ball.

My cheeks went red when I remember what he did to me at the bathtub, how hot encounter was it and it keeps playing on my mind. It's like he corrupted my mind. My god!

The emperor and empress was sitting at their throne.

What? They didn't expect that I can live normally now. That the so called cursed isn't true, a pure lie that maybe the empress do. I know that she is afraid of my mother, an empress is threatened by the wandering dancer?

They looked at me and the anger from their stares doesn't hide, and I know that their intentions was to make me see how mad they are.
"Why, how does it happened, I thought Hannah was lying, because that is impossible to undo the curse?" Empress said and looking at my gown. What did she just said? Why it sounds like she is responsible for the so called curse that I had?
I have a bad feeling, and I need to dig about this idea of mine, that the empress spread some fake news about the curse.
I know, all of my gowns will forever remind her that my mother is still living in me. And my mother is the most beautiful woman that the emperor has, and I will prove them that I am the greatest creation of my father.
"I just woke up that my eye is violet, and the curse isn't true." I said and all of the people from the ball was secretly listening to my conversation with my father now.
They love to hear a new scandal that is about to start right now.
"I can't allow a new scandal, Delaney. Kindly act accordingly tonight." I want to laugh hard and I can't roll my eyes now, because I wasn't wearing any eye silk anymore.
It's also hard to adjust now, because I need to play and act like a nice girl, even I am really pissed off with all of them.
I hope I can stop myself to roll my eyes and makes an expression that is visible to their eyes.
"I didn't do anything wrong since I came here, your highness." I keep my head down when I answer all of my father's word that is irritating me this much.
I feel that they will put all the blame on me, because they will do everything to prove that I am cursed.
These stupid people didn't understand that this is a ability, not a curse. My mother is from foreign country, and I am also half foreigner.

"Just make sure that you won't do anything bad to your family." Seriously, from them? I can't help but to smirk and trying to hide my pathetic reaction because I just got some pathetic words from stupid people tonight.

I badly want to laugh at the bottom of my lungs. Hannah is crying now and ran away from where she is standing.
I am just starting, but I will make sure that they will crawl each time that I make an action, and this beginning will never be enough to show them how mad I was.

William's POV
Princess Delaney's safety is my obligation. But tonight, I will fix something that she instructed me to do.
I am at the Windsor now, checking the business that Prince Terrence is building at the land of Duke.
I also have my own land, but I am busy to keep the safety of the princess. That's why I choose to guard her all the time.
