"You have learnt of the Origins Of The Ark as well as the Virtues its Structure and Contents signify which brings me to Today's Topic…the Field Of Arcology" Tempus Roma said.
"Arcology?" Mitsuki wondered.
"Arcology is a concept that originates from the History Of the Two Biblical Arks namely Noah's Ark and the Ark Of The Covenant. Modern Science interpretes it as a Fusion Of Architecture and Ecology…the Art Of Ecological Engineering to create closed loop self-sustaining ecosystems housed within a unifying structure. Nature itself contains instances of Arcologies. The Geochemical and Ecological Principles that govern the Earth make the Earth a kind of Arcology in its own right. The Earth itself is an embodiment of the 'Ark'. In terms of Geology, the multitude of Soil Composition and cross geological interaction of the layers of the Earth, the Distribution Of River Networks, Ocean Life, Magmatic Activities within the Mantle Of The Earth as well as the interactions amongst Ecological Life and the Chemical Reactions that occur in the various Spheres above and beneath the Earth. All of these function to maintain the Balance and Life Of The Earth" Tempus Roma explained.
"I see…from the way you described the concept…it appears…you are a kind of Arcology yourself Tempus Roma" Mitsuki realized.
Tempus Roma smiled.
"That is a very interesting observation. What makes you say that?" Tempus Roma asked.
"The Elemental Halls in the previous Dimension; the Elemental Pools and the Portals that release the Energy in the Halls allowing them to accumulate in the Pools to enhance the sustenance of your Active State through the Temporal Loop" Mitsuki realized.
"You could consider my present state as an 'Arcology' in its 'infant stages'. Your observation however ties with another unique kind of Arcology…the Human Body and the Bodies Of All Forms Of Life which in turn ties in with the second Classification Of Spiritual Life I spoke about namely the Eucharist which is one of the Seven Sacraments Of The Universal Church. A Sacrament in simple terms is an efficacious sign of Grace instituted by Christ and entrusted to the Church. It is a rite that imparts Divine Grace to an individual and operates through both a Visible Sign and an Invisible Reality.
The Seven Sacraments of the Universal Church are Baptism; a remedy for Original Sin via immersion or sprinkling of Water on the Individual to mark the initial infusion of Divine Grace into an individual and the regeneration of Mankind's Spirit which fell into bondage due to the Original Sin Of Mankind's First Ancestors; Confirmation; the strengthening and perfection of God's Seal Of Grace within an individual aligning them more closely with the will and nature of God and strengthens their Spiritual Gifts;
the Eucharist; which is the memorial of Christ's sacrifice and Victory over Sin and Death and the transubstantiation of Bread and Wine into the Living Body and Blood Of Christ signifying his Living Presence in the Church and amongst Mankind. This is not simply a symbol but a Physical Transformation within the Bread and Wine where the Fullness Of God comes to dwell within the Bread and Wine which is fused with Mankind's Body, Soul and Spirit when they consume the Eucharist. To put it simply, the fullness of God comes to dwell within Mankind through partaking of the Eucharist granting Mankind 'Eternal Life' which is not simply about 'The Length Of Life' but also 'The Fullness Of Life' which begins on Earth and extends into life after Death. In essence, the Human Soul is granted the strength to stand in the Presence Of God through the Eucharist which ties to the Ancient Belief that one could not behold the Presence Of God and live due to the Divine Purity Of God and his Glory. The Eucharist grants the Soul Of Mankind the strength to stand in the Presence Of God since the fullness of God within Mankind through the Eucharist strengthens the Soul and Spirit Of Mankind;
Next is the Sacrament Of Reconciliation or Penance which revolves around Spiritual Healing. It is the acknowledgement of Personal Sin and the desire and act of making reparation for the injuries caused by Personal Sin. Just as Original Sin led to the fracturing of Creation and the birth of the Vestiges Of Sin, Personal Sin does not only fracture the Spirit Of The Individual but also has Societal, Natural and Eternal Consequences. Societal Consequences in the sense that it fractures relationships and affects others, Natural Consequences in the sense that it impacts the Natural World adversely and in a sense turns the Natural World into Mankind's Adversary just as the land became cursed because of the Sin of Mankind's First Ancestors. Eternal Consequences in the sense that it could lead to the Eternal Damnation of the Soul if not remedied. The Sacrament Of Penance or Reconciliation is meant to remedy these breaches and free the Soul from Guilt and the consequences of Sin.
The next Sacrament is the Anointing Of The Sick which is meant to unite the suffering of the Individual to the suffering of Christ turning suffering from something to be despised into something that possesses a redemptive quality when embraced with humility. It is also meant to grant forgiveness for Sin and Healing and strengthen the Hope and endurance of the one undergoing suffering who through their suffering can participate in the redemptive work of Christ if their suffering is embraced with humility.
The next Sacrament is the Sacrament Of Matrimony; the Spiritual Unification Of Two Souls, a Man and Woman with God in essence mirroring the Divine Trinity and granting them the grace to begin and sustain a family.
The Final Sacrament is Holy Orders; which configures recipients as Shepherds Of The Church acting in the person of Christ Himself for the good of the Church" Tempus Roma explained.
Mitsuki listened closely.
"I explained all Seven Sacraments because I want you to have an idea of them before I delve into the one I really want you to understand namely the Eucharist" Tempus Roma said.
Mitsuki nodded.
"As I said before, the Ark in Ancient Times represented a 'Vessel' and there were multiple interpretations of the word 'Vessel'. Some considered 'Vessels' to be 'Vehicles' while others considered them as 'Containers'. As Mankind's knowledge evolved, the 'Human Body' came to be considered a 'Vessel' as well. It was from this thought that the concept of 'Spirits' and 'Emotions' arose. People of Good Character were believed to be 'Vessels Of Good Spirits' while those of ill character were believed to harbor 'Bad Spirits'. This concept gradually extended to Medicine in an attempt to explain 'Pathology' or 'Diseases'. Concordia has already begun to realize this that Disease is one of the Four Main Vestiges Of Sin originating from Original Sin. The Sacrament Of Baptism as I explained earlier was instituted as a remedy for Original Sin and to diminish its influence and effects within Mankind while amplifying the Spirit Of Divine Grace, the Holy Spirit or God's Spirit within an individual. The other Sacraments work to strengthen the Holy Spirit within Mankind while the Eucharist is the culmination of Christ's Victory over Sin and Death thus signifying Mankind's total liberation from Sin and Death as long as they freely cooperate with the Grace Of God. The Human Body is the Ark within which this Battle occurs. This Spiritual Battle is what manifests outwardly as the Conflict between Good and Evil in the World. You can consider it the Physical Manifestation Of The Spiritual Reality within Mankind. Biologically as well, the Human Body is a microcosm of various Organs and Elements functioning in Harmony to maintain the Health Of The Individual just as the same elements function in harmony within Nature to maintain the Balance Of Nature. When there is 'Disharmony within the Organs and Elements in the Human Body'Disease occurs just as Disasters and Calamities occur when there is 'Disharmony in the Elements Of Nature'. This 'Disharmony' would in 'Ancient Tongue' be described as the 'Bad Spirit' or 'Evil Spirit'attempting to take root within the Body. It's similar to how some Ancient Cultures associated certain Diseases with certain Elements. 'Fever' for instance was associated with 'Fire', 'Respiratory Diseases' with 'Wind', 'Metabolic Diseases' with 'Earth', 'Ageing' with 'Time', 'Dehydration' for instance with the 'Balance Of Fire and Water', 'Ailments Of The Nervous System' with 'Lightning' and 'Ailments Of The Senses' with 'Light', 'Sound' and the like or to put it simply 'Waves'" Tempus Roma explained.
"This is all very interesting" Mitsuki listened closely.
"The key to a functioning Arcology is less about Structure and more about Relationships and Energy Distribution. It could be said that the relevance of Structure with regards to Arcologies only hold for as long as they enforce and amplify Healthy Relationships amongst its components and ensure the efficient Distribution Of Energy amongst its components" Tempus Roma explained.
As Tempus Roma explained these concepts, the environment of the Hall altered continuously to mirror the concepts she was trying to explain.
