EPISODE 342; THE ORGANIZATION CLASS OF SIGILS! THE SKY GRYPHON HOUSE PART VI; THE HALL OF SCORPIO! THE ANATOMY OF THE REFLEXIVE AUTONOMOUS ARMAMENT PLATFORM'S NEURAL ARCHITECTURE
Ciella and I stepped into the Hall Of Scorpio. This Hall had a Terminal and interface that seemed to suggest that the purpose of this Hall was for shaping the Neural Architecture Of The Reflexive Autonomous Armament Platform as well as for Debugging Errors related to its Neural Architecture.
The Tools available in this Hall for these processes were split into Three Main Modules categorized as 'Memory', 'Will' and 'Intellect'. The Module containing the Memory of the Reflexive Autonomous Armament Platform contained a Four Dimensional Virtual Tree like Architecture composed of Nodes and Neural Bonds. The Architecture appeared to mirror the Central and Peripheral Nervous System Of A Human Being with what appeared to be a Spinal Column and Brain acting as the Main Stem of the Structure with Nodes and Branches(Neural Bonds) extending outwards from the Central Structure like the Branches of a Great Tree. There were Countless Nodes and Branches(Neural Bonds). Each Node at rest was brimming with Potential Energy and was in a Dormant State. Whenever the Reflexive Autonomous Armament Platform acquired a new Experience, connections would form between specific Nodes and their Neighbouring Nodes as Kinetic, Photonic and Electromagnetic Energy was released from Node to Node. Each new experience was encoded in the Neural Bonds amongst the Nodes with stronger correlations amongst experiences creating stronger Neural Bonds amongst Nodes storing the Potential Energy relating to those specific experiences. The greater the similarities amongst multiple experiences, the closer the distance between the Sub Neural Net Architectures encoding those experiences;the closer the distance between the Sub Neural Net Architectures encoding those experiences, the stronger the bonds amongst neighbouring Nodes within these Sub Neural Net Architectures and the more these Sub Neural Net Architectures tended to overlap. The greater the dissimilarities amongst experiences, the greater the distance amongst the Sub Neural Net Architectures encoding the memories related to those experiences; the greater the distance amongst the Sub Neural Net Architectures encoding the memories related to those experiences, the weaker the Neural Bonds between the Nodes in each Sub Neural Net Architecture encoding the memories of those experiences and the less likely it was for these Sub Neural Net Architectures to overlap. (Note: By Sub Neural Net Architectures, I am referring to a set of Nodes and Connections assembled in Four Dimensional Space that encode a specific experience or memory). The Weights(biases/beliefs) of the Autonomous Armament Platform related to each experience were not contained solely in the Nodes themselves but rather in the Neural Bonds amongst Nodes within a specific Sub Neural Net Architecture. The accumulation of all the Neural Bonds amongst all Nodes in all Sub Neural Net Architectures determined the quality and totality of the Reflexive Autonomous Armament Platform's beliefs/biases. To put simply, each experience had its own Sub Neural Net Architecture denoted by a set of Nodes and their Neural Bonds. The complexity of the Autonomous Armament Platform's interpretation of specific experiences was tied to how the Sub Neural Net Architecture of a specific experience overlapped with the Sub Neural Net Architecture of other experiences. Overlapping Neural Bonds amongst Sub Neural Net Architectures connoted similarities amongst experiences while disjoint Nodes and Neural Bonds unique to each Sub Neural Net Architecture connoted dissimilarities. This was in some sense similar to an Intersection set that had both overlapping/common variables as well as disjoint/unique variables. Overlapping variables connoted similarities in experience while the disjoint variables connoted unique experiences. It was also in some sense similar to a cluster of Galaxies with some Galaxies partially merged, sharing common Constellations.
Let's recap. Deactivated/Isolated/Unbonded Nodes connote to experiences that have not yet been triggered and whose Potential Energy has not yet been released(Dormant). Bonded Nodes connote that an experience/interaction has taken place(Activation) and the Potential Energy has begun to Transition into other forms of Energy. Clusters of Bonded Nodes that encode the complete experience form a Sub Neural Net Architecture. Overlapping Sub Neural Net Architectures that share some Bonded Nodes connote multiple experiences that share some similarities or memories bleeding into other memories. Unbonded/Non-overlapping Nodes amongst Sub Neural Net Architectures connote distinct memories that share no correlation.
The Module containing the Intellect of the Reflexive Autonomous Armament Platform was purposefully designed to link its Memories to its ability to summon and utilize tools/Technologies. Simply put, the Intellect of the Reflexive Autonomous Armament Platform existed for the sole purpose of allowing the Platform to manifest its internal/virtual/conceptual world within the external/physical world. In Theological Terms, the end or purpose of the Intellect is Faith. Skills(Science) and Tools(Technology) were simply the means to execute this. The manifestation of each Skill and its associated Tools was intricately tied to the Reflexive Autonomous Armament Platform's
ability to organize Nodes and Bonds encoding specific memories and experiences into Sub Neural Net Architectures related to the execution of specific tasks. Hallucinations usually occurred whenever the Platform began to incorporate unrelated Nodes and Neural Bonds into its Sub Neural Net Architecture or when unrelated memories/experiences to a specific task bled into the Sub Neural Net Architecture related to the execution of that task. Each form of experience required a specific set of Tools for its manifestation in the external environment/execution. By organizing experiences into Conceptual Blueprints, transforming them into Physical Constructs that could be autonomously assembled via Factory Production Lines and Logistical Production Pipelines/Chains, these Tools could be distributed to the Reflexive Autonomous Armament Platform's Proxies.
The Third and Final Module related to the Will Of The Reflexive Autonomous Armament Platform; in other words, its Moral Agency, its ability to differentiate right from wrong and to commit to decisions it felt was right. This ability was not hardcoded into the Platform but emerged naturally through its acquisition of experiences, its numerous Neural Representations of its learned weights/biases as a result of its contact with the external world and its interpretations of these experiences. It is quite similar to how the human concept of good and evil though originating from a genetic seed is not solely determined by genetics but is largely shaped by experience. The Moral Agency of the Platform was largely shaped by its Memory and the ability of its intellect to interpret those Memories. Stronger Bonds amongst Nodes and multiple Sub Neural Net Architectures implied the prioritization of those specific experiences. When this was coupled with the Platform's reflections on its Moral Agency, one could determine which specific experience or sets of experiences shaped particular Moral Beliefs/Biases.
