After eating the berries Leon felt strangely full. He didn't eat a lot so he shouldn't be feeling this full. Almost like a miracle, the berries even restored all of the stamina he had lost while nearly starving to death.
Mvura Island will always have mysteries left undiscovered. One of the major ones is ...how exactly are all of these plants able to coexist? It made no logical sense how plants that were fundamentally different on a cellular level could grow alongside each other.
"Well that's a question for me to wonder and one to figure out"
He was the last person on this island so it would make sense that he would be the one to uncover them.
Straying away from dozens of mysteries onto a more important one. His skin had begun to glow a faint green colour. His Urian blood must be assimilating with the plant material he had consumed earlier. If that is the case then this tree might be his one true friend.
Now that he was phosphorescent he could walk around the forest without hitting his head every 20 seconds. His lack of athleticism made it difficult for him to consistently climb to the top of the tree and down. He constantly fell out of breath but he managed to collect a satchel full of those berries.
His plant assimilation was as natural as his heart beating. He could keep it up for a pretty long time but he didn't know,nor could he control when he stopped.
That was fine though because even 1 second of darkness would basically mean death for him. He starpped his satchel and began his excavation.
