Chapter 3 - Episode3

Nalleyia and her twin sister walked to the girls' dorm, heading toward the counter where they would be assigned a permanent room.

Light blue magic circles appeared all over the school, making a sound similar to that of speakers and microphones when turned on. A man's slow and deep voice echoed from the magic circles, "Attention, new batch. As you all know, the time is rather late because someone is lazy."

A voice from the background retorted, "Oi, you were the one sleeping, remember?" This voice was more normal compared to the first.

"So for now, all you have to do is just go to your rooms and sleep. Easy, right? Books and... umm... your other things will wait till tomorrow. Byeee." The magic circles disappeared, only to reappear within a minute. The same man added through the circles, "Oh, and the cafeteria is open... if anyone is interested. Byeee."

"There, done. Can I go now?" A sound of a chair moving was heard through the magic circles, then the background voice said, "Go where? We still have work to do—and you haven't turned that thing off."

"Oh, for the love of evil—" The magic circles disappeared, leaving some students amused.

At the counter, the girls stood in a straight line. An average-looking lady with short dark hair and brown eyes sat behind the counter, looking bored. "Next!" she said, while glancing down at an upside-down paper. Standing in front of the counter was Nalleyia, her sparkling eyes filled with excitement and a bright smile. The lady's tag read "Mirez."

"Write your name here," she pointed at a black square on the paper.

Nalleyia saw numbers on the paper, each with two blank horizontal rectangles. A name was already written in one of the spaces. Concerned, she asked, "Umm... is the other person my roommate?"

Her sister, standing behind, whispered, "What!?" and leaned over Nalleyia's shoulder to look at the paper.

"Yes," Mirez answered, still bored.

"Can I write my name in the next box instead? I really want to room with my sister," Nalleyia asked, both sisters hoping for an affirmative reply.

Looking at the sisters in front of her,Mirez sighed heavily and looked at the girl standing behind Nalleyia and her sister, gesturing for her to come forward.

Nalleyia and her sister turned to the girl with blue hair tied in a ponytail, her right hand on her waist.

Mirez said, "These two want to share a room together. Do you agree to share a room with this person?" pointing at the name "Keiniim Phyroux" written in the box.

"Sure, I will," the girl said without hesitation. Nalleyia and her sister's faces lit up with smiles.

"Then write your name there," Mirez instructed. The girl wrote "Karisna Rolike" in the box beside "Keiniim Phyroux." She took the key that appeared on the left side and walked away from the counter.

"Now write yours," Mirez said, still bored.

Nalleyia wrote her name, followed by her sister writing "Leyianin Inkaell" beside it.

"Wait!" Nalleyia called out to Karisna.

Karisna turned around and was hugged by Nalleyia. "Thank you so much," Nalleyia said with a smile after pulling away.

Karisna smiled back, "You're welcome."

"This bubble is Nalleyia, and I am her twin, Leyianin," Leyianin said, smiling as she walked up to them.

"Nice to meet you two. My name is Karisna," Karisna replied.

"So, where are you going?" Nalleyia asked.

"To the cafeteria. Wanna tag along?" Karisna said, smirking.

"Yep," Leyianin answered energetically.

"Okay, let's move then," Karisna agreed.

"Alright, let's go!" Nalleyia added, locking arms with Leyianin and Karisna. The three of them walked toward the cafeteria together.

**Meanwhile**

Ziyll joined the boys' queue in the dorm. The line moved slowly but didn't take long before it was his turn. He reached the counter, where a man who looked about 40 years old sat. The man, wearing glasses with flat yellow hair, had blue eyes and a scar on the right side of his face, making him look intimidating. His tag read "Karfe," with a piece of paper in front of him.

"Write your name in the box on the paper and take the key that appears over there," he said, his attention on his book.

Ziyll took the pen and wrote his name in the box. He saw that his roommate's name, "Ziyan Kazuz," was already printed. Taking the key, Ziyll walked away, heading to his room. "Looks like this guy really wants that room," he said.

Two senior boys passed by Ziyll, looking surprised as they glanced at him.

"He looks just like him," one boy said.

"Yeah, I thought it was him, but he didn't seem to know us," the other boy replied.

"His hair is different too," the first boy added. Wondering what they meant, Ziyll looked at Crimzine, who shrugged.

Ziyll headed to his room. As he walked, he heard the announcement being made. "Interesting..." he commented. Crimzine growled, as if speaking. Glancing at Crimzine on his shoulder, Ziyll replied, "Nope, I'm not hungry."

Arriving at his room, Ziyll opened the door. The room was spacious enough for two people, just a typical room with wood-layered walls and surface. There were two pairs of beds, one on the right and one on the left, each with a table and chair at the bottom and lamps on both tables. The bed on the left had some stuff on it.

"He is already here... or has been here," Ziyll said, referring to the name on the paper from earlier at the counter.

Crimzine hopped off Ziyll's shoulder and landed on the bed on the right side of the room. A closed door stood on the left side. Opening it, Ziyll saw a toilet and a bathtub with some soap and other amenities inside.

Ziyll turned around, closing the bathroom door with a small smile on his face. "Well, this is better than I expected."

Crimzine looked at Ziyll, her mouth open in a smile, revealing her sharp teeth.

"It might be even better tomorrow," Ziyll said, still smiling. "Maybe I should check out that cafeteria," he pondered. Then, deciding to sleep instead, he said, "Nope, I'll just sleep for now. Hella tired." Yawning, Ziyll fell flat on his bed with Crimzine right beside him. Both fell asleep.

An individual appeared at the window, slowly sliding it open and stepping into the room. He turned and looked at the sleeping Ziyll and Crimzine.

"What have we here...?" he said, grinning.
