"You okay?" Kay asked. He really needed an answer to that question. Journee just exhaled loudly and closed her eyes as her scary persona always melted when Kay would hug her with all his emotions. She softly placed her head on his shoulder and nodded. She had no strength to reply to him after that heart-melting hug.
"You are going to your doctor tomorrow. Is that clear? God! When was the last time you went to therapy?" asked Kay. She told him right after the bomb blast. She had to go to the official therapist as she needed a psychological clearance to continue her job. He ordered her that she was going to her therapist tomorrow, but she reminded him that she had a job to do and that job was never going to wait.
After a minute of to and fro, finally Kay succumbed to her demands. He softly put her down on the floor when his eyes landed on her feet. She didn't even look at her feet. She was not ready for what came next.
