Twenty minutes later, Liam Moore and Robert Southgate arrived at the Moore Group, heading directly to Christopher Moore's office.
"Brother, brother, we came to pick up Alexander." Liam Moore trembled with fear, knowing he was almost in the loop. If only he had found Ruby Mercer's pregnancy test result and checked it sooner, he wouldn't have been disdained by his big brother.
"Hmm." Christopher Moore replied coldly.
Next to him, Robert Southgate feigned a couple of coughs to indicate his presence.
Liam Moore sensed the awkward atmosphere and mustered the courage to say, "Brother, we saw Ruby being criticized, and we're planning to deal with those people."
"Hmm, go on then." Christopher Moore finally looked up at Liam Moore and Robert Southgate before him, his expression calm and unreadable.
"Brother, aren't you going? I'm going with Robert." Liam Moore continued, puzzled by his big brother's uncharacteristic calmness when it came to anything related to Ruby.
