"Oh, you're checking the room! Come over and eat." Richard Moore adjusted his glasses and went over to pull his wife back to the table.
"Hannah's smart; she wouldn't get hurt!" Hannah Mercer proudly puffed out her little tummy, saying with a lollipop in her mouth.
"Daddy's here." Hannah's round eyes opened wide, blinking adorably, her short legs pitter-pattering into her brother's room.
"Daddy!" Seeing her dad holding her brother, Hannah also quickened her short legs, running to Christopher Moore, opening her chubby arms, asking for a hug.
"Sweetie, how did you know I was here?"
Christopher Moore hadn't missed the noise at the door; he just didn't feel like going out, but hadn't expected Hannah was there too.
