After Ruby Mercer finished freshening up, she was directly pinned against the door by Christopher Moore!
The man spoke in a deep voice, "Can you keep your word?"
Ruby's eyes flickered, "Your foot is injured!"
As she spoke, she glanced at the man's already swollen toe!
However, Christopher wouldn't allow her to make excuses and directly lifted her up, "A toe injury doesn't affect my performance!"
As if to prove his ability, Christopher lifted her up with one swift motion, then sat on the bed and placed her on his lap.
"Or are you saying that all the sweet and sour ribs I made tonight were fed to the dogs?"
"Or, the pleas you made to me at Supremacy were just dreams?"
Ruby chuckled, "How could that be?"
"Am I that kind of untrustworthy person?"
Christopher looked at her without speaking, gazing deep into her eyes.
In his heart, he honestly answered her question:

To me, you are an utterly untrustworthy person!
