Chapter 933 - Chapter 932: Smashing Tanks Like Tin Cans

The Hulk began rampaging through the base, causing widespread destruction. General Ross immediately ordered all areas sealed off—but it was useless.

Even after troops were deployed and dense firepower poured toward the Hulk, the result was laughable. Bullets clanged and rattled against his body, feeling no different from a massage.

In his fury, the Hulk nearly tore the command center apart.

Ross quickly issued another order, cutting power to the surrounding areas. It was a calculated move—he intended to lure the Hulk outside, where they could deal with the nearly invulnerable monster in open terrain.

The plan worked.

Following the exit, the Hulk successfully escaped the military base. He immediately broke into a full sprint, then leapt in a single bound into an abandoned desert town.

Vague memories stirred within him. This place… had once been his home.

But just as the Hulk was lost in those distant memories, a shell came crashing down from the sky. Fortunately, it didn't hit him directly, instead striking a nearby building.

Even so, the explosion's shockwave sent him flying. The Hulk finally suffered a minor injury—but the small wound healed almost instantly.

Seeing this, Tony Stark chuckled outside the screen. "That regeneration is even more ridiculous than Wolverine's."

Erik Lehnsherr shrugged. "True. Though now I'm curious—could Logan's claws actually do any real damage to him?"

Tony laughed lightly. "If we ever get the chance, it'd be interesting to let the two of them spar."

As they joked, the Hulk in the video continued charging across the desert—until he encountered tanks.

As the kings of ground warfare, tanks represented genuine heavy firepower. Their cannons locked onto the Hulk and unleashed a full barrage.

Yet amid the roaring flames and explosions, the Hulk emerged completely unscathed. He leapt high into the air and landed near the tanks from a great distance away.

Machine gunners fired relentlessly—but it was pointless. Even the tank shells failed to inflict meaningful damage.

The Hulk charged straight through the storm of bullets and artillery, flipped one of the heavy tanks over, grabbed its cannon barrel, and hurled the entire tank away as if throwing a shot put.

The soldiers in the other tanks were utterly stunned, momentarily forgetting to fire. Many viewers outside the screen were just as dumbfounded, mouths hanging open in disbelief.

Natasha Romanoff shrugged. "In front of the Hulk, tanks are basically toys."

Tony Stark scoffed. "Tanks are nothing. Even massive Chitauri warships were dismantled like toys by the big green guy."

Erik Lehnsherr glanced at Bruce Banner beside him and joked, "If you think about it, buddy, turning into a powerhouse like that isn't entirely bad, is it?"

Bruce Banner shook his head. "No. The one in the video isn't me—it's a monster."

If given the choice, he would much rather remain an ordinary, unremarkable person.

Tony Stark said, "Bruce, I'd advise you to accept this fate. No matter how you look at it, it's not entirely a bad deal for you."

"Not a bad deal?" Bruce Banner sneered. "Would you want to become a mindless, rage-filled monster? Tony Stark—if you were in my place, what would you choose?"

Tony tilted his head, thinking for a moment. "Honestly, buddy… sometimes we don't get to choose at all."

Bruce Banner glanced at him, pressed his lips together, and fell silent.

Back in the future video, the Hulk emerged victorious against the tanks. One was thrown away like a shot put, another was ripped open like a tin can—just like how an ordinary person might struggle to pry open a stubborn can of food.

Even so, the military refused to give up. They deployed armed helicopters.

With air superiority, the helicopters caused the Hulk considerable trouble. They forced him into a field of shattered rock formations and unleashed a heavy bombardment, flattening the area and burying the Hulk beneath rubble.

Yet even that wasn't enough.

After the helicopters ran low on fuel and withdrew, the Hulk clawed his way out from beneath the debris and continued advancing toward downtown San Francisco.

At that moment, the video paused, and a new question appeared:

[Will the Hulk be captured by the military?]

[A: Yes

B: No]

Another binary choice—seemingly simple.

Yet the players exchanged uneasy looks.

Tony Stark spoke thoughtfully. "If the green guy keeps running, the military really can't stop him. In my world, Banner eventually evaded their pursuit."

Natasha Romanoff nodded. "Same in mine. But the issue is… the Hulk in this video doesn't seem to be running blindly. He's moving with a purpose."

Erik Lehnsherr mused, "He's going to find his girlfriend? But isn't the Hulk supposed to lack reason and awareness?"

"Who knows," Tony shrugged. "Maybe he hasn't completely lost his consciousness."

From the earlier footage, it was clear that when Bruce Banner transformed, he became violent and irrational—but not mindless.

He had recognized David Banner earlier, and just now he had returned to his childhood home. That suggested memory and intent still remained.

If the Hulk retained some level of awareness, then heading toward the city likely meant one thing—

Betty.

She had already handed him over once. Doing it again wouldn't be surprising.

After all, even heroes struggle to overcome matters of the heart.

Soon, the countdown began. The players each had their own calculations, but aside from Bruce Banner, everyone slammed the buzzer immediately.

This time, Erik Lehnsherr won the right to answer. Without much hesitation, he said, "I choose A."

Tony Stark smiled. "Confident, aren't you, Erik? Not worried about being wrong?"

Erik currently ranked second on the scoreboard. To win the game, he would need to overtake Natasha Romanoff, who was in first place.

At this point, the final winner would most likely be one of the two.

Tony thought that if he were in Erik's position, he would probably play it safe.

Erik chuckled softly. "When luck's on your side, confidence comes naturally."

Tony shrugged and also chose A. Natasha Romanoff and Bruce Banner followed suit.

Only Homelander rebelled this time. Refusing to go along with the crowd, he chose B.

'If I'm right,' he thought, 'they'll all lose points—and I'll finally have a chance to catch up.'
