The Quicksilver in the video was clearly more outgoing and lively, while Pietro, standing outside the video, appeared noticeably more reserved. This likely had a lot to do with their childhoods and life experiences.
It was obvious that the Quicksilver from the X-Men universe had at least a complete childhood and a warm home, unlike the one from the Avengers, who lost his parents at a young age and later joined Hydra with his sister, becoming a test subject.
Though both were called Quicksilver, their life stories were worlds apart.
"Did you notice?" Stephen Strange pointed out. "This Quicksilver looks a lot like the one Wanda encountered in Westview. No—it's not just resemblance. It is the same person."
Pietro frowned. "If I remember correctly, wasn't the 'Quicksilver' in Westview just someone Agatha hired to play the part?"
Stephen shrugged. "Maybe Agatha knows a thing or two about the multiverse. Either way, it doesn't feel like just a coincidence."
In the future footage of Westview, Wanda had also sensed something off—the face and personality of that "Quicksilver" were different from the brother she lost, but she still felt a strong sibling bond. Perhaps that was a sign of something deeper at play.
Back then, a lot of people thought Agatha's Quicksilver was too fake. But now it seemed—was he actually from another universe all along?
In the video, Pietro didn't even try to hide his mutant abilities. He kept teasing and provoking Professor X and the others. Professor X asked him, surprised, "Aren't you worried about exposing your powers?"
Pietro just grinned and shrugged. "Powers? Did you guys see anything strange? Even if I told people, no one would believe it!"
Just from this short interaction, everyone could see how bold and reckless he was—and many found themselves liking this brash young man.
Truth be told, his personality was definitely more charming than the Avengers' Quicksilver. He left a strong impression, rather than being just another forgettable extra.
After a bit of casual chatter, Professor X and the others finally got to the point. From Wolverine's familiarity with Quicksilver, it was clear that they would become close in the future—possibly even comrades in battle.
So, Professor X and Hank decided to put aside their prejudices and trust this rebellious teenager. They explained their mission and asked for his help in breaking someone out of the Pentagon.
Pietro was indeed gutsy—or perhaps it was just the recklessness of youth. He didn't seem the least bit concerned about infiltrating the heavily guarded Pentagon. Instead, he simply asked, "What's in it for me?"
Wolverine responded by showing off his abilities. "We're the same kind of people. You can trust us."
Pietro was intrigued. Maybe to someone young and fearless like him, storming the Pentagon to rescue someone sounded cool—a perfect way to push his limits.
Ever since he discovered his lightning-fast powers, he'd been sneaking around stealing little things—not anything valuable, mostly snacks. His room practically looked like a mini-mart, with shelves stocked full.
This rebellious teen wasn't a bad seed—he was just chasing a thrill.
Driven by a mix of camaraderie and the excitement of a challenge, he didn't hesitate to agree.
So the four of them joined a tour group heading into the Pentagon. Hank used a homemade device to hack the surveillance, while Professor X and Wolverine stood by for backup.
But the star of this rescue mission? Quicksilver, of course. His speed was beyond belief—just like Wolverine had said, he could be anywhere in an instant.
Magneto was being held in a special prison beneath the Pentagon. The guards delivered his meals at regular intervals. So when one of them stepped into the elevator with a food tray and the doors closed behind him, he was startled to find his hat suddenly lying on the floor. As he bent down to pick it up, he looked up again—and another person was suddenly in the elevator.
Quicksilver, now wearing goggles, smiled and pulled out some duct tape.
When the elevator reached the correct floor, it was Quicksilver—now dressed in the guard's uniform—who stepped out with the food tray. The poor guard had been taped tightly to the wall inside.
At this point, a lot of people couldn't help but laugh. Strange quipped, "Haha, I've gotta admit—this Quicksilver's way more fun than you. Is he faster than you, too?"
Pietro scoffed. "Are you kidding me? Of course I'm faster!"
Strange just shrugged. "Well, maybe you two should race sometime—see who's really quicker."
Back in the video, Quicksilver carried the tray carefully through a high-security corridor toward the cell. Magneto was a suspected presidential assassin and an extremely dangerous mutant, so security was airtight.
Every few steps there was a guard stationed, and they were all equipped with plastic-based firearms—clearly designed to neutralize Magneto's powers.
Thanks to Hank's surveillance hack and Quicksilver's incredible speed, his disguise worked perfectly. None of the guards noticed a thing as he slipped through and reached the outside of the cell.
The special cell was made entirely of heavy concrete, with no metal parts at all. It was located underground, with reinforced glass at the top and a small opening for food to be lowered in.
Quicksilver dropped the food down, with a little note attached: "Mind the glass."
Then he climbed up to the glass and tapped on it to get Magneto's attention. Erik glanced up and seemed to immediately grasp that this was a rescue.
Quicksilver smiled and placed both hands flat on the glass. Activating his powers, he started rapidly vibrating his hands at high frequency. The reinforced glass began to tremble. Moments later, cracks spread across it—and then the panels shattered under the resonance. Magneto was finally free.
But at that moment, the heavy cell door began to close. The shattering glass had already triggered an alert.
Meanwhile, Hank triggered the sprinkler system in the adjacent kitchen to clear out the nearby staff, while Professor X and Wolverine moved in to assist.
Inside the prison, Erik warned, "In three seconds, that door's going to open. At least twenty guards are waiting out there to shoot us!"
Quicksilver zipped to his side in a blink and placed a hand gently behind his head. Grinning, he said, "I know. I've been waiting for it."
Erik asked, confused, "What are you planning?"
Quicksilver replied, "Just making sure your neck doesn't snap."
Erik still didn't understand, but before he could say anything more, the door slid open—and just as he'd predicted, twenty armed guards stood ready to fire. But in that very instant, Quicksilver dashed forward, dragging Erik along in a blur of motion—racing straight into danger.
