Aston had a to-do list as usual. He wasn't going to complain. It was a needed to-do list. He didn't want to get out of bed just yet unless he had to. He enjoyed having Jazmin this close to him. After breakfast, he was going to call his mom. He wasn't sure if he should be the one to invite Jazmin's parents or let her do it. He wanted to be formal about it.
"So, about inviting our parents for dinner, would you like me to formally invite your parents or let it be a more personal invite?" he asked gently.
That's a good question, "Uhm, call my dad and formally invite them, but I will also call my mom and tell her." Jazmin felt it was needed to do it both ways.
"Okay, that works for me. I will call after breakfast. I have a few phone calls to make anyway," he announced. "Would you like me to give you time to inform your mom first?" he asked.
Jazmin paused, "Yes, thank you."
They finally moseyed out of bed, showered, and dressed before heading down for breakfast. By the time they arrived, there were several others still sitting at the table. Including Aston's beta.
"We saved seats for you," his beta winked and chuckled. "How is my old lover boy Alpha this morning?"
Aston rolled his eyes with a chuckle, "Okay, knock it off, Chase. No funny business happened last night." He always wanted to be a honest straight forward Alpha.
They pretended to be baffled by his words, "You shameful dog! You must be so heartbroken", Chase mocked Aston. They enjoy teasing Aston, and he loves them like little brothers. Chase was his best friend growing up. His family moved into his pack when they were 10. It has been 11 years of great memories and friendship.
