Everyone wraps up dinner about an hour later, and Aston checks his watch. It's 9:35 am. Perfect, his parents should be awake by now. He knows they kept to a strict schedule, even though they no longer run the pack as Alpha leaders. He motions that he is heading to his office. Aston hugs Jazmin and kisses her on the way out. Chase is close behind him, but headed in a different direction, he heads to the training grounds.
Aston dials his mom's number and waits for her to answer, "Aston dear!"
"Hello, Mother! Glad to know you're chipper this morning," he smiles.
"Oh, honey, retirement has been nice. Me and your father are planning a vacation this summer."
Aston chuckles, "Well, don't plan to soon."
puzzled by his words, "Oh, why might that be?"
"Well, mother, we still need to have the luna ceremony on the next full moon!" he explains.
She gasped, "That's correct! How can we help?" she asked.
Aston paused, "I want you and Dad to come to dinner this Saturday to discuss plans for it," he informed her.
His mom waves his dad over to the phone. As she puts the phone on speaker, "Aston dear, the phone is on speaker so you can talk to your dad as well about this." Even though he still has alpha abilities and super wolf hearing.
"Okay, Mom, Dad, I want both of you to attend dinner with us Saturday night to plan Jazmins Luna Ceremony," Aston says excitedly.
His parents both smiled, "Of course! We will be there. But you know that the full moon is next Friday, right?" his mother asked.
"No, I did not know that, but thank you because that saves me having to look it up," he says.
His mom chuckles, "Well, get used to it, you will have several things to plan around full moons over the years," she informed him.
"Thanks, Mom, I will see you guys soon!" With that, Aston hangs up the phone.
Once the phone call ends, he feel like a weight if stress has been lifted. He was nervous about having to plan this ceremony. He wanted to check in with Jazmin and Chase on their parents. He heads back to the dining hall to see if Jazmin is still there before heading to the training ground to track down Chase.
