Upon seeing the skyship, Ian immediately grasped the brilliance of Fiery Flame Land's plan.
They roughly estimated the scope of Ian's Seer's Ability, so they employed extremely indirect methods, manipulating a skyship to enter Xiawei Territory on that very day outside of Ian's predictive range... and then have this skyship crash directly into Xiawei Territory, leaving no room for error!
Because the actions related to the covert hijacking were decided outside The Empire, Ian was unable to prevent it and couldn't trace its source in the South Ridge.
He was at the Great Snow Peak and couldn't even see the skyship, naturally making it impossible to identify the primary cause of the disaster.
Yet, as Ian thought from the start: knowing but unable to prevent it is no big deal.
