His words were met with immediate response from the opposing side.
A woman from the Great Emperor Pavilion stepped forward to match him. She was beautiful, with long black hair and deep black eyes that seemed to see through everything. She was also at Stage 1 Martial Emperor Realm, and her face showed equal anger mixed with disdain.
"Discovered first means nothing in a secret realm!" she shot back. Her voice was clear and sharp as a blade. "These lands belong to no one! The strong take what they can claim! If the Emperor Academy cannot defend its discoveries, then it has no right to keep them!"
The young man's face flushed with rage. His hand moved to the sword at his waist. "Shameless! You waited until our people were investigating the site, then attacked them while they were vulnerable! You call that fair competition?"
