The priestess winced, though she didn't look surprised by his outburst, "I apologise… His soul has been claimed by someone else instead of Goddess Srii… In that instance… I'm afraid revival is not possible…"
The Rejmar frowned, "His soul was claimed by someone else? What does that even mean?!"
The priestess shook her head, "I assume this is your first time seeing something like this? There are cases where a person may be cursed or had their souls promised to another being instead… That would result in their soul being diverted to another place instead of Goddess Srii's domain… In such cases, I'm afraid our resurrection magic is not able to bring them back…"
The Trasif stepped forward, "Are you telling us that… He is dead permanently?!"
"Unfortunately… Unless whoever has possession of his soul relinquishes it… But by then, I would think it would be too late to resurrect him anymore…"
