"I don't get it… How did you even fall for her?" Goddess Ralaie asked.
Srii seemed to ignore her and stretched her hand towards me.
A handshake? Err… Ok?
I reached out my own hand and grasped hers before shaking it.
The Death goddess shuddered for some reason before she turned to look at the other goddess who was gaping at the sight of us shaking hands.
Err… Why is she looking at us like that?
Goddess Ralaie slowly turned back to me, "How?"
I blinked at her, "How what?"
"How are you… Touching her?"
I looked down at my hand that was still connected to Srii's, the goddess now holding my hand in between both of hers like she was trying to warm her hands.
And to be honest, her hands do feel a little cold but it wasn't an uncomfortable cold.
It's like the feeling of submerging your hand into a cool pail of water during a hot summer day.
"Am I not supposed to?" I asked.
Srii held my hands even tighter, "That's not what she is asking, Aster."
