"Grandpa, don't listen to him talking nonsense. Our company doesn't allow artists to date, and if they're caught, they'll be fined."
Bertha Haines burst out laughing and then lied to her grandpa, but instead, her grandpa became more worried after hearing it.
"How can you not date? If a girl marries too late, she won't have choices left. I think that young man with the last name Pei is quite nice. I heard you two are childhood sweethearts..."
Bertha quickly interrupted her grandpa's matchmaking.
"If you break company rules, you have to pay a penalty. It's in the tens of millions."
Her grandpa was indeed scared: "That much, huh."
"Grandpa, you shouldn't worry about my love life. I'm so outstanding that people wanting to marry me could line up from the head to the tail of the Phoenix River."
It wasn't that Bertha was narcissistic; her male fans were indeed numerous.
Her grandpa was amused by her words but his tone carried a hint of melancholy.
