After a long time since the call was hung up, Bertha Haines finally came to herself.
She had waited for this day for a long time, and now she finally had the chance, yet suddenly she felt a bit nervous.
"Can I talk to you?"
Suddenly, Sebastian Page's voice came from behind her, interrupting her thoughts.
She glanced back at him, wary, but after some hesitation, she took him upstairs.
Upstairs was her private area.
There was a bedroom, a study, and a not-too-large or too-small living room.
"What do you want to talk about?"
Sebastian looked around at the surroundings and then focused his gaze back on Bertha.
The girl in front of him had hair not much longer than a crew cut, a figure not much better than an ironing board, the only thing worth looking at was her face.
She was clearly miles apart from the type he liked.
But he didn't know when it started, he suddenly wanted to see her every day.
