( Kuro Pov )
" Morning~ Ni-chan!!" The children of the orphanage shouted as they sat in their chairs ready for breakfast.
" Morning!" I replied with a cheerful tone for the kids as I placed their breakfast in front of them.
" Morning everyone." Mother Teresa walked down with a baby in her arms.
" Morning, Mother Teresa!!" Everyone, including me, welcomed her as i brought her a plate and bottle for the baby.
" Thank you, Kuro." With a smile, she sat down and bottle fed the baby and took abite from her plate one in a while.
I looked at the clock and realized it's time for school.
" I'll have to go now everyone, you guys behave and don't cause any trouble." I rubbed the children's head as I sat up and got my bag.
" Awww!!" The children deflated in sadness.
" Be safe, dear." Mother Teresa said as I gave her a smile.
" Of course." I replied before leaving the orphanage and saw a black next to the gate.
" Hello, Yami." I gently picked him up and rubbed my head into his belly and looked at his eyes.
" There is not a single thought behind those eyes." I chuckled to myself after placing Yami back to his original sleeping spot.
I walked towards my school, Aldera Junior Hig, which is the school where Bakugo and Midoriya attend to. Though we don't have the same classes, I still see them from time to time.
" Morning Kuro!"
" Hey Kuro!"
" Good morning, Kuro."
" Morning everyone." I replied to everyone as I changed my shoes at the lockers. I changed my shoes and went to my classroom where I met my classmates.
" Morning, everyone!" I shouted as I entered the classroom and walked toward my desk.
"Good morning, Kuro!" Everyone replied.
" Kuro, did you see the news this morning?" A classmate asked me as I sat down on my chair next to her.
" Oh? What happened?" I asked her as she showed me her phone and she used this chance to get closer to me which caused many jealous eyes to be cast on her which she shrugged away.
" A giant shark man went on a rampage by the train tracks." She explained as she showed me a video of the villain being taken down by the Hero Kamui and My. Lady.
' It seems time is up... I should start taking my training a lot more seriously from now on.' I narrowed my eyes for a few seconds before relaxing my face.
" That's pretty cool..." I said as I leaned back at my chair.
" Right!" My classmate replied, and before she could continue speaking, the teacher arrived.
" Alright, get to your seat." He ordered as he placed a stack of paper on his desk.
Today is the day we would list down the high schools we would pick and not surprised everyone, including me, picked U.A.
After listing the schools, the day began to be as regular, and school is finally out. And just as I packed my books in my bag, a classmate approached me.
" Yo Kuro! Wanna hang out?" He asked.
" Sorry, but I have to help Mother Teresa with the kids at the orphanage." I replied with a smile.
" Aww, well, maybe next time." He waved and left with the others.
I slung my bag over my shoulder and walked down the hallway when I heard a commotion in another class. I stepped inside to see Bakugo bullying Midoriya.
" Ahem." I coughed, gaining everyone's attention.
" K-Kuro!!??" Bakugo's lackeys exclaimed as I glared at them, and they both ran out. And with them gone, I saw Bakugo setting in anger.
" The hell do you want Kitty Cat!!?" He shouted.
" Go home. You already caused enough trouble as is." I replied as I helped Midoriya up to his feet.
" T-Thank you."
I nodded and looked at Bakugo, who left the classroom. Seeing that Midoriya was fine, I decided to leave, but Midoriya stopped me.
" K-Kuro! D-D-Do you T-Think I-I could be a h-hero?" He stuttered, I looked at Bakugo and saw the scrawny kid and remembering the person he'll become in the future.
" Midoriya... do you know what's the difference is between a coward and a hero?" I smiled as I saw his confused face.
" H-Huh?"
I chuckled at his response, " A coward avoids difficult challenges while a hero faces them. But to answer your question, Midoriya... it all depends on your actions. You can become a hero." I smiled and left Midoriya, who was in a daze.
Amd. If I'm correct, Bakugo is going to be held hostage by a slime, and as a good classmate as I am, I decided to help.
