The screen switched from a green haired boy with a broken arm and leg to a boy with cat ears.
" Oh? He's interesting." Nezu smiled as he looked at the other participants in the same batch.
" Kuro, orphan, quirk: Shadow manipulation. Enhanced strength, reflexes, and has night vision… He basically has the quirks of a cat."
Nezu glanced at the man who finished reading data sheet of Kurt, " Thank you Aizawa, though curious, how was his written exam?"
Aizawa flipped the page, " A hundred marks, psychological analysis shows a positive reading and… cat doodles."
Aizawa held up a test paper to show cat doodles across the test.
" Oh? I wonder how much time he spent on those doodles?" Nezu exclaimed as the teachers looked at each other.
It wasn't hard to figure out that Kuro finished his test fast that he gotten bored to starting drawing.
" He's skilled, trained and-"
" Reckless."
Aizawa didn't flinch when everyone's eyes turned to him as he continued to observe Kuro.
" He's talented sure, but the kid is trying to hard. He's gonna burn out or worse…" Aizawa narrowed his eyes as he saw Kuro's leg lagging a bit.
' His leg muscles are getting tired…' he thought before glancing to his side, glancing at all might who's expression mixed with relief and disbelief.
' That expression…' Aizawa pictured the green haired boy from earlier as his expression almost reassembled during that time.
Aizawa didn't say anything before watching Kuro again as he started his evaluation.

I'm sorry, but I'm not fit to be a hero… I'm really sorry.
This kid no! This young hero… without hesitation had been the first to step and face a villain to save his classmate. I could still feel the chills and goosebumps on my arms, I was… inspired.
' Not fit?' I was confused, what was the young man's ideal hero?
' But still, if it wasn't for the young man, I wouldn't have met Young Midoriya.' I smiled as I watched the young man save a few participants.

I stood at the door entrance for a few seconds before it clicked.
" Ah…"
I moved out of the orphanage and moved into a new apartment building not far from U.A. So not being greeted by the kids made me feel strangely empty and lonely.
' Sigh, alright. I'll need to wait for the letter, in the meantime I'll have to keep studying and train.'
I placed my bag onto the couch and sat down as I started contemplating my skills during the exam.
' I was too excited… and my shadow began to weaken after that powerful attack.'
I reached for the remote and turned the tv on as I walked into the kitchen to grab something to eat.

It was like any other day, waking up at 0530, washing up and exercising then taking a shower before making breakfast. A routine I've started to become familiar with.
But as I finished eating and was about to go out shopping, I saw a mail by the door.
I took the mail and opened it on the kitchen counter, I took the disc into the palm of my hand before light shone from it.
" I am here! As a projection!"
" Pfft!" Despite expecting this, I couldn't help but find it funny.
" Young Kuro! I am here! To explain your admission… You passed! And with full marks on your written exam!"
All might showed a hologram of my exam scores with full marks in math, science, history and literature.
" But that isn't all…"
The hologram switched to a video of me fighting the robots.
" You showed great strength, speed and instincts… with your quirk you've managed to accumulate 115 villain points ! Which is very impressive Young Kuro."
As the video played behind him, All might flexed his muscles through his suit as if seeing the fights filled him with energy.
" But that's not all!"
Video then switch to me saving and helping participants from the robots.
" HERO POINTS! Points grained by helping and saving others from danger, you've accumulated 65 hero points. Bringing your score to a total of 180 points."
I saw my name, ranking first on the list.
" Yes!" I celebrated as I raised my fist to the air.
" Welcome, to UA. Young Kuro, your hero journey starts here."
The hologram ended as I sat there in silence as I placed my hand on my chest to hear my heartbeat beating like an engine.
' This… this is it, my own journey.' I thought as I took the holo disc and walked to my room and set it down on my desk as I took a notebook from my desk drawer.
Since I don't have a system that would automatically keep track of my progress I decided to track them manually.
