Lady Pet laughed happily twice, pushed Mack away, bypassed the still shy Rosero, and leaned over to Ruth's side.
"I say, Ruth, that thing from Kamente Tower has nothing to do with us." She raised an eyebrow and gave Ruth a flirtatious glance. "For this, you have to ask Mack."
"What are you talking about?" the black-robed Mack said expressionlessly, "Isn't Kamente Tower a member of the Tower of Dark Enigma?
I recall he never did anything that violated the oath of the Dark Enigma."
Ruth glanced at him... Although Mack had the worst attitude here, he was also the one with the least ulterior motives towards the Tower of Dark Enigma.
Or rather, Mack, and the 'Black Artists' behind him, were indifferent to the Tower of Dark Enigma's inclusion and the possible portion of the pie they might claim in the future.
Having nothing to seek and nothing to fear, plus Kamente Tower being a nail that the Tower of Dark Enigma could not possibly remove, made Mack the most genuine one here.
