Its front claws were long, with nails that were both extremely hard and sharp, allowing it to dig quickly.
Its hind claws were not as long, but were very strong and capable of quickly pushing the excavated soil behind it.
Before long, the Giant Claw Beast had dug a large pit in the ground and pulled out seven or eight edible plant tubers and various roots from the pit.
The Giant Claw Beast was very large and looked fierce, but in fact, they were herbivores, feeding on plant tubers and roots.
