The sunlight peaked through Damien's windows beyond the edges of my curtain. The light hitting him right in the face alerting him that a new day has come and like any almost 9-year-old before him. He rolls away from the light like a vampire trying to regain the pleasant sensation of sleep. As soon as He realizes getting back to sleep was a failed mission. He sluggishly sit on the edge of his bed. Just as He reaches down to grab his slippers He gets hit by a four-foot blonde missile in the side.
"I'm up I'm up," He says to the giggling mess of a seven-year-old. that is latching on to him like a stuffed bear He stands up a bit and she slides down instead of my torso she's got his legs.
"well are you going to let go so we can go get some breakfast?" Damien saw down to her. She giggles even more and shakes her head. Damien starts moving forward kind of sliding her with him.
"Annabeth gets the other leg" Ella calls out reinforcements another blonde missile latches on to the opposite side out of nowhere also giggling alongside. Damien makes a big show of slowly Falling down kind of like ant man in Civil war But as soon as he's down as any big brother figure and grab her and start tickling the little rapscallion. He looks over to Annabeth who has unlatched from his legs.
"Your next," Damien says acting like a monster. She makes a quick decision to either help her fallen comrade or to make a quick escape. She runs from the room.
"you'll never catch me alive." She screams as she giggles.
"Don't leave me Annabeth" Ella yells playfully to her new friend. Damien gives a few tickles for good measure and start hunting his next target. Damien catch's Annabeth right at the kitchen door and start tickling her until she almost hyperventilating from laughing. It's good to play with them like this I'm glad Ella made such fast friends with Annabeth. It has been a nice few days the Demigods being there.
Despite Thalia's constant glares, Luke warmed up after the first day. Cody and Grover get along pretty well despite a few arguments here or there about nothing. Damien had been working on his package for Harry Potter mostly the letter wrapping the mist around a book and even consulting Fred to try add a compulsion charm effect on the book it was pretty easy and with so many people in the house it was easy to practice especially with Luke around with his constant sticky fingers he deserved to be pranked a little and he took it light-heartedly. Damien wondered how such a guy like him can have such a horrible fate.
Writing the letters was probably the hardest thing He'd ever done how can you tell a guy that his entire life Is a lie and the people that helped kill his parents are all trying to use him as a puppet for their nefarious means. Damien had written the letter half a dozen times and the best version He had come up with is this.

My name is Damien swift. You may have heard of me you may have not. I am contacting you for a plethora of reasons but mostly because I want to help you. I know that sounds weird coming from a stranger especially when your in a predicament that you are in. I bet you are wondering why I am contacting you well I know things about you and your parents that you do not know. I would tell you everything but there are a few problems with that. First, if I were to meet you in person it would alarm a certain powerful person who is currently in control of your life. He is the person who put you with your aunt to stay in that horrible house as far as I know your parents never wanted you to go to your mother's sister. Though I am not sure if he is a Bad guy or just a bit manipulative Good Guy it's very risky for me to approach you.
I know now you're wondering why would you have gone to them if your parents didn't want you to after they passed your parents had a mentor of sorts they believed in with all their hearts they trusted him with their safety and when they passed you were left in his custody, Now he didn't kill your parents that was a man that calls himself Voldemort.
I know that's hard to hear and I know you're wondering how could that be they died in a car crash. But they didn't harry your aunt and uncle lied to you. But that isn't all they have lied about and/or withheld from you. This next part is probably going to be the hardest to wrap your head around.
Has anything strange ever happened to you when you were scared or afraid, well you're a wizard Harry And not just any Wizard but you are famously known as the boy-who-lived in the wizarding world. You earned that title on the night your parents passed away.
The events of that night led to you being placed here with your Aunt and Uncle. It is my speculation that you may need to worry about the person who place you with your aunt. There is a chance he placed you there so you would be easier to control no access to magic no trustworthy friends or family. So that in a few years you could be rescued by the person who placed you there and be eternally grateful and when the time comes you would be the perfect controllable pawn. Why would they go through all these hoops to control you? well...with you as the Boy-Who-Lived in their corner it could be for political power or some other reason but I'd advise you to be careful but again that is my speculation it's not a hard fact even if it is true with the book I am providing you will be able to protect yourself and get ahold of your life in the event of a worse case scenario. Now the facts.
First I will tell you about Hogwarts, When you turn 11 you will receive a letter from Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry which is a truly magical place or so I've heard. Your mother and father went there. That's where they met and fell in love. Your aunt after finding out about magic and the school of magic from her sister sent a letter to The Headmaster to attend said school but was rejected for not having a drop of magic in her. The anger and jealousy festered by that disappointment is why they treat you so badly.
Second, I will tell you how you received the moniker the Boy- Who-Lived You see the man who killed your parents was also a wizard. He was a powerful wizard that specialized in Dark Magic and was using his power in an attempt to take over the wizarding world and then enslave regular people but the light side of magic stood in his way your mother and father were part of the light side. He cast a wicked spell designed to kill anyone the spell touches somehow you as a toddler survived it somehow the spell rebounded and killed Voldemort instead no one in history has ever survived the spell and because of that reason your name was spread and you were held as a hero of the wizarding world and given a title The Boy-who-lived.
Third, why was defeating Voldemort important. The average wizard believes that most potent of Magic spells need to be fueled by emotion for certain spells and this led to a kind of division in the wizarding world between light magic that cast spells with positive memories and emotions which your family is historically a part of and the dark side of magic that uses negative emotion for spells and there are other dark aspects like sacrifices and blood rituals. The wizarding world is constantly fighting with itself and every once in a while, a powerful dark wizard will try to take over the wizarding world. In the last 100 years, there has only been two around World War 2 Gellert Grindelwald who was Defeated by Albus Dumbledore who then used it as leverage to get his fancy positions in the wizarding government. The other Dark lord was the man who killed your parents Voldermort.
Fourth, How your parents fought against Voldemort. They were member's of a paramilitary group called the Order of the Phoenix. The order of the phoenix was led by Professor Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore, Order of Merlin (first class), Headmaster of Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry, Supreme Mugwump of the International Confederation of Wizards, and Chief Warlock of the Wizengamot.He is a man of much power in the wizarding world if there is a comparison to him in the regular world he is pretty much the emperor of the magical Britain world. He is the self-proclaimed leader of the light and the man your parents trusted the most before they passed. He is also the one who I have warned you to be wary of he is the one who placed you with your aunt.
Your parents were where fighting a war against Voldemort and the light was losing. Luckily for the light, your parents had you. You see there was a prophecy made in an old pub about you. There were two listeners to said prophecy one was Albus Dumbledore and the other was your mother's childhood best friend Severus Snape.
Severus Snape is a complex person he hates your father because your father and his friends were a bit cruel to him when they went to school together. You see when you arrive at Hogwarts they do a sort of personality test that separates you into four houses. The four houses are Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, Gryffindor, and Slytherin. Each of the houses holds different values for the Ravenclaw learning and the search for knowledge, Hufflepuff Loyalty and hard work, Gryffindor Bravery and chivalry, and Slytherin cunning and Ambition. The houses also represent the founders of Hogwarts Rowena Ravenclaw, Helga Hufflepuff, Godric Gryffindor, and Salazar Slytherin.
All of them have their upsides and downsides but because of many factors, Slytherin has the worst reputation since the founder who was accused of hating muggle-born (which is what they call a wizard or witch born from a regular family) wizards it became known for being the house pureblood bigotry which is a big issue in the wizarding world especially now since the dark lord proclaimed that he was the heir of Slytherin.
Severus snape was sent to Slytherin House. Your Mother and Father to Gryffindor. Your father started a group called the marauders( the marauders consisted of Remus Lupin, Sirius Black, and Peter Pettigrew) Their purpose was to stand up to the pureblood bigots that would eventually become the death eaters the people who would eventually work for Voldemort, they hated muggles and muggle Borns like your mother since they were kids it was mostly just harmless pranks since most pureblood bigots were in Slytherin they targeted Slytherin students but since a lot of Slytherins were politically powerful your father and his group couldn't risk messing with most of them But snape he was half blood he was free game.
They ridiculed and bullied him right into the arms of the dark arts and the dark lord. Your mother tried to stand up for him at first but the rumors of him consorting with the purebloods in Slytherin drove a wedge between them since she was a muggle-born witch.
They had a big fight and cut ties with each other, but your mother made your father promise to leave him alone. I don't know the exact wording of the prophecy but it pretty much said that a child born to a couple who denied the dark lord three times will defeat him. There were only two kids that qualified for the prophecy you and Neville Longbottom. Trust me prophecies always suck I have one on my head right now.
When Severus heard the prophecy he knew immediately it was about your mother. But he was stuck between a rock and a hard place he had to tell the dark lord what he knew because of the dark mark that the dark lord puts on his followers to insure they follow his orders. So he told him part of the prophecy. This leads the dark lord to find ways to find your parents and the long bottoms to ensure his victory.
Severus Ran to Albus Dumbledore hoping he could warn your parents about the dark lord hunting them. He made severus promise to serve the light and himself and then went to the potter's and convinced them instead of fleeing the country to put their house under a fidelius charm. The Fidelius charm is a charm that makes a place completely invisible and no one would be able to find them but there is a catch you have to entrust the location to a secret keeper. Your parents wanted to make your godfather Sirius black the secret keeper but he was kind of the obvious choice if anyone wanted to find the potter they would only need to catch Sirius black. So your father and godfather did what they did best they played a prank meant to be on the dark lord. They choose Peter Pettigrew to be the secret keeper. He was a marauder but he was a kind of a coward a weakly little man that no one would expect. Remus lupin was off trying to make a treaty for the order of the phoenix for support of the light side and at the time they believed a traitor to be in their midst.
Now the wizarding world believe's that your Godfather Sirius black was the one who betrayed your parents though they do not know that it was really Peter Pettigrew that betrayed the potter's and the light and told the Voldemort about your parents whereabouts. At that time Sirius Black was discovering that something was wrong with Peter And he started to worry about him being the traitor and when he thought of the potters and found he remembered where their house was he realized in terror that the charm was down. He arrived to find you in your crib. Hagrid the groundskeeper of Hogwarts arrived just after the events had taken place Hagrid insisted Sirius give you to him by the orders of Albus Dumbledore.
Your Godfather should have seen it as weird but I think he was shellshocked by losing his best friends. He didn't ask how Dumbledore knew that your parents had passed away or why he didn't protect them. He gave you to hagrid and said he was going after Pettigrew. Hagrid brought you to privet number 4 and Sirius black went after Peter Pettigrew. Peter Pettigrew was prepared though he cut off his finger yelling questions at him to make it seem like Sirius was the secret keeper such as " why did you do it?" and "they were like family to us?" Then shot off a laughing charm and an explosive spell at a gas tanker exploding it killing 12 muggles and faking his own death.
The magical police arrived they saw Sirius in a ball on the floor laughing his friends death really hitting him repeating over and over that it was his fault. What he meant is that it was his fault making the choice peter being the secret keeper. The magical Police they took it as admission of guilt that he betrayed the potters he was thrown in jail without trial. The reason they did this is because Sirius comes from a powerful and influential family and if the head of the ministry could get rid of them then they would have less people to answer to. Though If I am right that Dumbledore is sketchy it would make sense for him to have had a hand in his lack of trial without Sirius Black no one could Unlock The potters will and your magical guardianship would go by default to the headmaster to the magical school you have been registered to since birth. You are the last Heir of an Ancient and noble line with the potters and your godfather made you heir Apparent to the ancient and noble line of the blacks. That means he controls the votes in the wizengamont ( magical jury) giving himself more power politically. That's not even mentioning the vast wealth of the two families.
Even with Voldemort defeated You still have many immediate threats against you. Notice I said defeated not dead I highly suspect that he did not completely die I think he did some very nasty magic to keep himself alive as a spirit until he can get a new body. So even though you may have to Face Voldemort again you have other more pressing threats in the wizarding world.
First you have the death eaters. The Wizarding world is so corrupt that many of Voldemort's followers where able to get away Scot free with bribery to a few high ranking Ministry officials though it's not a huge worry since you are hailed as the wizard world hero and most of them who escaped justice claimed to be under a spell called the imperius meaning they were under Voldemorts control the entire time. If they attack you now when Voldemort is dead then it would prove they weren't under the imperius but still they are crazy so you have to keep your guard up.
The fact that they got away Scot free is another mark in the Dumbledore might be evil Camp. There are also a series of books that tell of fantastical stories that are based on you in the wizarding world now there are three reasons why they could of come about. First If Dumbledore is evil he could of wanted to make it seem like you were giving your votes to him as your choice so he spread stories of Harry potter the boy-who-lived as story character releasing books with marvelous made up details you defeat dragons rescue damsels. To make you seem like some magical prodigy smart enough to give up your political power to a trusted elder namely him. Second the ministry was trying to capitalize on your victory to calm the citizens give them a hero to rally behind to make how close they were to being conquered go down smoother, And third simple greed someone could of just used your story to make a bunch of cash. Either way because of the book the people of the wizarding world will expect you to be capable and knowledgable.
I know your wondering how i would know about all of this, People in the wizarding world can be born with special gifts and abilities that go beyond the usual magic, Such as there is a magical girl with the power to chape shift in hogwarts named nymphadora who is sort of your cousin or you have the ability to speak to snakes As for me I'm sort of a seer visions of the past and future that's why I know so much. I know you have a lot of mixed emotions about all of this but I really want to help you we are kind of in similar situations. You most likely don't believe me but hopefully you look past it for now. This book has a few spells to train wandless magic it will help you become a powerful wizard and occlumency is really important because it helps protect your mind.
The headmaster is a master of a form of magic that lets you read minds so is severus snape who has made the potions teacher at Hogwarts. Occlumency will helps you control your emotions as well as improve your mind to give you a near-photographic memory.
I plan to try to help you out a bit before the hogwarts letter come send a book here try to send a letter there but In the event that I won't be able to meet up until the Hogwarts express and you end up going to Diagon alley I will advise you to get the goblins to help you. Ask hagrid if you can handle the banking yourself and insist upon it. Then ask a goblin if you can speak to the manager of the black family. I would say speak to the potter family Manager but I think he may have betrayed your family for Dumbledore but the goblin of the black family would never do such a thing. Tell them you want a inheritance test. Then do audit of your accounts black potter and what ever other family you inherit. Get the goblins to take you to a goblin healer. Take up your heirship. Try not to let Hagrid catch on to what your doing since hell tell Dumbledore. I will be working on a plan to get your godfather free or at least a trial but I don't see a way to do that for a few years. I also want you to be aware there is a chance that Dumbledore is just some well-meaning manipulative old man instead of a malicious dark lord hiding in the light but be wary. Now my seer ability isn't always accurate some stuff gets jumbled up which is why I'm not sure if Dumbledore is Evil some of the advice I gave you with the goblis is no good so play it by ear but they are your best bet.
I'm sorry that you had to find out about things this way. After reading this letter you should probably burn it.

Damien think's as he reread's the letter its rambling but and the letter is a bit manipulative but Damien Think's it's pretty honest and he has all the information to grow into a powerful ally now. not a puppet. Damien just has to see how much he grows until Hogwarts to be completely sure and if he insists on being a pawn Damien doesn't really lose anything Though having Dumbledore as my enemy isn't ideal Damien has literal gods backing him up. Damien gets up from my desk and walk down the hall to see Annabeth, Luke, Grover, and thalia gearing up.
Damien knows he is this manipulative genius kid but seeing them getting ready to leave puts a pit in his stomach not wanting them to go. Well, at least luke and Annabeth.
"Sneaking Off without saying goodbye," Damien says in a joking exasperated voice. That causes them all to flinch and look embarrassed except Annabeth who looks somehow sad and happy to see me.
"Well couldn't risk the drop and cough search on my way out," Luke says jokingly back with a smile. Damien gives a hug to Annabeth that makes her smile and a tear to drop. Damien wipes it off her face.
"Don't worry you are welcome here whenever you want to come back." Damien tells her. He looks up and says to them. "all of you"
Thalia looks at me conflicted for a while thinking of saying something which makes Luke, Grover, and Annabeth look at her expectantly.
"your not as much of a loser as I first thought," Thalia says after a while. She's actually pretty attractive when she's not glaring. Damien quickly checks that thought. Guess puberty might be hitting a bit early since He works out so much. He smiles at her and she gives me a smirk back. Damien shakes Grover's hand.
"I wish you luck on your search for the great God Pan," Damien tells him."I plan to help put a stop to people hurting the environment." They had been discussing it a bit when Damien told Grover He was putting rachel's father out of the business of development. he was hoping he tells the council maybe He could get their help in the green initiatives for swift co.
They turn to leave and He watches them go sad that He couldn't do more for them knowing in his heart that if He tried to change thalias fate or any of their fates right now it would only make it worse. It was this silent promise that He hadn't known he'd agreed to prophecies can be bent but He didn't completely believe they could be broken.
