As Edgar Lucas entered, the first thing he saw was little Tommy running over. Little Tommy stood there with a milky smile, looking at Edgar with curiosity instead of fear.
Edgar was also observing him. When he first met Victor, he was about this age too, except back then, Victor's eyes were filled with arrogance and disdain, unlike this child who was curious and gentle.
After examining him, little Tommy realized he didn't recognize Edgar and immediately turned away, "Benny, there's a guest at home, and I don't know them."

Polly Sutton invited him to sit in the living room, placing a glass of water in front of him, "We don't have much tea to offer you at home."
