Polly Sutton sighed for a while and finally got up to eat for her stomach's sake.
Breakfast consisted of all Polly Sutton's favorites. Well, it seems the man does have some merits.
Victor Parker brought out some porridge from the kitchen and sat down beside her, "You really don't want to go on vacation? This time might be one of the few opportunities we'll have in the future."
Polly Sutton fiddled with a small oily cake and recalled that he still had half a month of vacation left. It seemed she just realized now that she'd truly married someone of significance; this marriage wasn't like an ordinary union and was even different from a military marriage.
"Won't you be able to take time off later?" Polly Sutton asked.
"There will be few opportunities," Victor Parker said truthfully, "but the island has all living facilities and other family members."
