Polly Sutton glanced around to make sure this was not a place Mrs. Parker would come before she answered the call.
"You are Olivia Rook."
It wasn't a question, but an accusatory call made after confirmation.
Polly Sutton stood outside the hotel without entering, twirling her hat in her hands while playing with the tone of Mrs. Parker's words. Previously, she always said that the eldest daughter of the Rook Family was their rightful daughter-in-law. Now, this tone sounded completely different.
"Why is it that no matter your identity, you only bring harm to Victor?" Mrs. Parker said through gritted teeth on the other side of the phone.
Polly Sutton leaned against a pillar, listening to Mrs. Parker's words through gritted teeth, "Mrs. Parker, you've had your say. I don't know what I can say to satisfy you."
"Divorce my son, immediately."
