Polly Sutton was taken aback by the question, suddenly wondering if there was a huge bucket of dog blood hanging over her head.
Matthew Quinn hasn't appeared much since arriving, but each time he does, he seems to be helping her.
"Could it be that we also have a childhood engagement?" After all, Mason Rook seems like the type who'd do such a thing.

There was a burst of laughter, barely controlled, from Matthew Quinn on the other end, and Polly Sutton's face darkened. The call wasn't even over yet, was laughing really that friendly?
"Don't worry, your fiancé has always been just one person, Victor Parker." Matthew Quinn said after his laughter subsided.
Polly Sutton sarcastically chuckled inwardly; she wasn't at all impressed by that.
"You actually want to ask about my relationship with Eden Young, right?" Matthew Quinn asked from the other end.
