"If you don't let go, you'll really see a ghost." Victor grasped her arm, but didn't use much force, worried he might snap her delicate arm.

If it were someone else, they would have been thrown several thousand meters away by him.

Polly Sutton quietly eased her grip, but didn't release him completely. Who knows how terrified she was just now—or rather, nobody knows.

"It's been dealt with," Victor said to Andrew Lindsey, then left with Polly Sutton in his arms.

Even after they reached Victor's room, Polly Sutton hadn't calmed down. Her heartbeat was still irregular, which showed how scared she had been moments ago.

"It's nothing now, someone did it intentionally."

"I didn't know it was deliberate, but that doesn't stop me from being frightened," Polly Sutton reasonably expressed her fear.

Alright, he'd never seen someone express their fear so reasonably. "So, what do you want, to keep holding onto me like this?"
